ME3 Liara's facial-animations felt very stale to me compared to LotSB. In LotSB I felt every emotion from her facial-animation. In ME3 I mostly remember cutscenes where she barely used her facial-animations at all aside from her mouth and eyelids. It's a quality issue from the lack of dev-time, I know, but this detail irked me a lot playing through the game right after replaying LotSB.

Benezia has them too.
(They're just facial markings that happen to look like eyebrows. Unless Liara draws them on with a felt-tip pen every morning.)
