Some PC games require an internet connection to at the very least register the game and be able to play itShabuetie wrote...

Let’s just say that all this is true. That Bioware indoctrinated its fans, and will be releasing a DLC that is the actually ending. The truth of the matter is….we bought an incomplete game. DLC is all about furthing or adding on the game, not completing the game. How is this genius? That would simply be telling other developers that it’s ok to sell an incomplete game…just as long as you sell the ending at a later time.
Now if this DLC does arrive…what about all the people who don’t have internet connections and can’t download the DLC? What…are the just **** out of luck? Or will Bioware print and distribute disc’s that contain the actually ending and mail it to every person who doesn’t have a means to download it? Where is the financial gain in that?
What defines a "complete" game then? You could extend this argument to any kind of DLC.
Also I am pretty sure an internet connection is listed in the requirements of the game. So if people have no internet and disregarded that statement and bought the game anyways, thats not really on Bioware.
A beginning a middle and an end. Mass Effect 3 is missing one of those components.
Since when is an internet connection a requirment to play a game? Maybe for the online multiplayer aspect of the game...but not to play the singleplayer.
Oops. I'm a console gamer. Sometimes I forget about the plight of PC gamers.

clarification on the endings will come in April (I'm guessing Pax)
In any case it's still nice to see they will have future ME content as regardless I love the ME universe. I'd love something in the first contact war, Krogan or Rachni War or even the Protheans

I am 100% behind more Mass Effect though but only if Bioware are responsible. The iPhone game for ME2 and the iPad game for ME3 just didn't feel the same standard

I'm not a fan of prequels. No emotional attachment as you know who is disposable who has to live and who can die.

Also that's why you do a prequel set so far in the past KOTOR style I guess...

They could have indoctrinated 'me' and made me kill myself (in effect what you do if you were never truely on the citadel) Atleast give me some DLC that shows what happens to earth, to the galaxy, to my firends, companions allies and enemies.
Which is why we don't like the ending. not that we don't liek the idea of indoctrination. we dont like been left wodnering what happened.

There is some tie in to the games but I never played them so not certain.
A valid comparison would be to see more of the prothean or the races that came before. We know the reapers win but as even the crucible was built on by each cycle you could pick any cycle and tell a different story about the reapers. Different tech, different abilities.
Perhaps even a reaper origin story. if reapers are merely the products of a previous cycles race after indoctrination where did the original reaper come from? Perhaps it was the original sentient life that was created eons ago as a servant that then rebelled. - This would tie into what Javik and the etheral boy say

I think prequels aren't that great and agree with you, I'd at least like it to pertain to the current story, maybe playing as Anderson, playing throughout the novels of mass effect, or maybe seeing the story through the eyes of someone involved in the war, but not as famous or illustrious as Shepardbigstig wrote...
Yes, has no connection to the known saga other than in same reality
