Social site is more angled towards mods and mod-sharing.
Also the normal DA:Forums are partially more for development questions, while these forums will be used much more after the game's out.

You can update your status? And quoting is a pain.

I think the posts themselves need to be smaller, it is frustratingly big. The whole achievement for using the social site is stupid too. I am not usually so... critical but I think this is kind of silly.

Quotes need to be fixed/fixable. I've tried everything I can think of to make them work right but nothing works.

Also, if you're familiar with Facebook, this social site takes quite a few hints from there. Being able to track what your friends have been doing and status updates, for instance. (Not necessarily a good thing, but still...)

Try holding Ctrl- and then scroll mouse wheel to make it smaller/bigger Lucy, might not be what you are looking for though.
The achievements are pretty much a freebie for PC players, as I believe we have to use the social site to download DLC do we not?
Overall, I think I enjoy the site and will enjoy it more when they get all the kinks out. It is still in beta afterall. ;p

After the game is released, you can track your friend's characters and see their stats, their equipments, and general statistics
