 Hey gang,

Just wanted to see if the fires are still alight to have those awful endings changed or followed up somehow. I noticed there is a 'Support the Mass Effect endings' group on FB where folks are basically saying, "Oh, you didn't like the endings?  You want them changed? Must be nice to feel entitled, isn't it?"  I am REALLY getting fed up with that tone.  Anyone else getting that vibe? All we fans want is closure and an ending that makes some sort of sense! The endings did not deliver that in any way shape or form.

Might I remind folks?:

From Casey Hudson himself, prior to ME3's release (my thoughts in parens):

"It’s not so much that there is a fixed set of alternative endings (um, no. There ARE  a fixed set, three to be exact), but all of your choices really determine how things end up in the universe (nope, you end up, apparently, decimating the galaxy via Mass Relay detonation no matter WHAT choice you choose for the ending) . So, how you approach the end-game, for every player, you’re going to have a different set of results in terms of who is alive and who is dead, and which civilisations survived and which ones were wiped out (again, based on the logic that the ME Relay detonations destroy entire systems and the lack of closure, you have absolutely NO idea what happened.) ."

" So it’s not like a classic game ending where everything is linear and you make a choice between a few things(bzzzt! Wrong again!) – it really does layer in many, many different choices, up to the final moments, where it’s going to be different for everyone who plays it."

Sorry to harp on Mr. Hudson so much. I realize he has been devoted to the series from pre-EA days, but  I think if he hadn't come out and made these very statements, there would be less of an uproar.  But combine these statements with the fact that the endings made absolutely NO sense and did not fit in at all with the rest of the series, I think the long-standing fans who have played through the ME games deserve a better ending to the series that what was produced.

Please folks, hold the line.  The fires seem to be dying out and we need to keep them burning bright so that BioWare/EA will give the fans the endings that we were expecting, NOT entitled to.
