I thought Vega was OK. The only thing I didn't like about him was that he has one of those "Hi, you're supposed to know me like we're old chums and stalwart companions - even though this is the first time the player has seen me" intros.

This was great. And I say this with no sarcasm: better ending than the real one. I would've said "wtf?" and then laughed. With the real ending I said, "wtf?" and spiralled into depression.
