If Bioware would just chop off the Starchild scene and had the Crucible blow up the Reapers right after the last dialogue with Anderson I don't see why an ending in this format wouldn't work. All they would need to do is come up with several different possibilities for each character depending on decisions you made throughout your game. I'm sure it wouldn't take long to put together, Bioware gets to claim multiple endings based on your game, and we get an ending that doesn't completely blow.
