I am stuck during the Quest to enter Jarvia's Hideout.  I found this online and saw what I am missing...

Some thugs will attack you as you enter Dust Town. Kill them, then check their corpses for a Codex Entry. Head south through town and talk to Nadezda by the fire. She'll mention that you need a token from one of Jarvia's men to enter the "suspicious door" in the Slums House, which leads to Jarvia's lair (this information can also be obtained by bribing Rogek or Alimar).
Enter the Slums House at the south end of town and kill Jarvia's men here until the leader surrenders. Use Persuasion or Intimidation on him to get him to tell you about entering Jarvia's lair. If you fail, continue the battle and kill him, then loot the finger bone token from his corpse.
Exit the house and go northeast. Drop the token in the slot in the suspicious door to enter the Carta Hideout.

The only problem is that I did not receive the finger bone token off of a corpse.  I checked my inventory and it is not there and I dont destroy anything.

Any help would be appreciated...  This is the only way into the hideout and the only was to advance in the game.

Thanks.

Yesterday I decided to quit dragon age after the same bug you had. However, i found the cheat/fix
If you actually wanna see the quests and not just end up with Jarvia dead get the Additem script
http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=1131 and open the console ~ after running the game with -enabledeveloperconsole argument:
runscript additem orz410im_carta_key 1
This will spawn the finger bone token in your inventory. This fixes it.
Bioware, you suck big time for this bug. Honestly. I hate you and if it weren't for cheap cheats like these I would have not continued playing your buggy games.

EA isn't here. Bioware is hardly here. Other gamers is what you find here, so go away, sorehead. We don't accept whining, complaining, and teeth-gnashing here, sorry about that.

I was going to mention hair shirts and self-flagellation, and other bad habits, but I reined in somewhat.

See, now that would remind me of all those years of Catholic school. A few of the sisters were just terrifying.
