Why Is Everyone So Forgiving Of The Eavesdropping Side Quests In ME3?

The game did feel really rushed, but the overall Main quest was interesting enough to waylay the side missions. Overall, discounting the ending, I'm happy with the game.

As for squaddies, yeah that was really annoying, it felt like they were all turned into dlc characters like Kasumi and Zaeed

Not to mention that the Citadel is the only hub. I think Omega and Illium (?) still exist.... Maybe even the Quarian Migrant Fleet can be a hub....

Yeah, honestly that did tick me off more than just a little bit. I understand that a lot of places are no longer safe, but there's gotta be more than just the Citadel out there.SystemsAlliance wrote...

Welcome to RPGs where eavesdropping quests happen everywhere?
I do hope this will not become standard.
It's ok to have a few of those, but every damn side quest in ME3, aside from N7, is eavesdroping quest.
It becomes tedious very fast.

So many people say 'only the ending sucked'. What about how side missions were handled, reduced interactive dialogue with squad mates and tons of auto-dialogue.
Are these lost in the hysteria of the awful endings?
It's funny. Ur mad because some people aren't mad about that , right?
Personally, that thing annoyed me. But i didn't found it gamebreaker, is kinda like the DA2 quests.

It's notable that the one thing EA does not seem to want to do is to compare the development time between Oblivion and Skyrim and the resulting quality of the new release. They're trying to fit their sports game franchise build schedule to everywhere else and it is really showing.

I dunno about autodialog...unless you guys put it on action mode there are still choices, and I felt like it was better NOT to have to pick a choice for every single thing that Shepard says. And I also don't mind that companions were "Zaeeded" because at least when you talk to them they more often than not say things that are actually relevant to the mission instead of just repeating a couple of lines you've already heard from your previous conversation. Plus they move around the ship and, more importantly, interact with each other, making it feel more organic.

I opened my journal and saw like 10+ quests and was where the f***k did these come from?
And being chased by angry lobsters while scanning planets to finish these "quests" was plan retarded.

Because it's done, unlike the ending sadly it's to big a thing to "fix" in DLC form, it's a huge chunk of the game. We can say it sucks but there's no constructive use to it other then let them know pleas to never do it again.
Sadly like everyone noticed they just decided to make a fantastic shooter part and went really lazy on the whole rpg part of the game, from having less choices in dialogues to the anti-intuitive journal, the simplicistic weapon mods (five mods for every weapon? that's it?) and this.
I wouldn't agree that it was done, without any chance of tweaks. I personally don't look forward to in future playthroughs, visiting every area of the Citadel every few priority missions, on the off chance of hearing someone talk about a random item on a world with no directions to it in the cluttered journal.
The journal could be tweaked, spitting priority missions from fetch quests and adding some text about the star system where planets are located.
And speaking of the fetch quests, instead of stumbling through the Citadel, requests for them could be added as messages in the Spectre area across from Udinas office.

that's what Shepard does, helping everyone in the galaxy to fix their problems. Maybe in the next DLC we will be seeing Shepard helping out a demented hanar to cross the street on the Citidal.
There was (and Im being serious) already a quest like that in ME1 where a woman stole a Csec officers weapon and was holding herself hostage by the Normandy. Only happens if you chose the Skillian Blitz history for Shepard. She is bat-ish crazy and thinks you are going to hurt her like a Batarian. A french human csec officer asks shepard to help out.
So sadly, your idea is 5 years and two games old.

You mean Talitha? That was the Colonist background, not the War Hero.

it was clearly another step in the steamlining of bioware games. now you don't even have to press a button to initiate a quest just walk around randomly grabing quests without effort. clearly designed for casual gamers
