If you disregard the forum polls and social media as the expressions of a minority, what kind of evidence would you need to accept that the endings are almost universally hated? You expect a level of certainty that most sciences can't offer.

of course ppl wouldnt complain about those movies because no one cares about it. i dont think u understand how big and how much mass effect has affected ppls lives. it  is possibly the greatest story ever told (bar the epic fail ending) i think u sir are the stupid one for failing to see how great ppls love for the story and characters is. i think rather that it is YOU that dont care for the story and you probably have no attachment or emotional investment in the characters or story you just see it as an average videogame. mass effect is beyond a mere videogame. i thought ppls outrage would show you this but you clearly dont understand.

saying "no one forces movie studios to try and fix their ending" and quoting flops like Green Lantern and any Tim Burton fiasco isn't apples to apples. A more apt comparison would be the Harry Potter Series or any other major POPULAR series. Can you imagine the uproar if at the end of Harry Potter, Lord Voldemort said to Harry, "Harry, we can't fight anymore, I am your long lost Daughter."?(,,,and btw, purchase DLC) That is about how out of touch with the core of the series and contrary to lore and plot the ME3 endings are.
