The moment the Reaper child showed up. After that everything else went downhill with his (or it's?) bizarre logic and the fact that our Shepard basically nods and accepts it.
Where EXACTLY did the ending go wrong for you?

When the cutscene ended and I realised that's all the closure we were getting. I can live with everything else, hell I don't even mind the ending in concept, but the fact we don't have any solid answers on where our team is now, what the state of the galaxy is, how the actions of the game and the end choice have impacted the universe, etc. etc. I found that disappointing. Felt like they'd either need DLC or another game to explain it, which isn't really on for the end of the trilogy.
Everything else though? Was either really well played (the Anderson/Illusive Man scene and Anderson's death) or acceptable imo.

My suspention of disbelief didn't go out of the window until the Starchild showed up. I felt the TIM confontation was rather well presented, along with Anderson's death. Things took a nosedive afterwards though.

I was willing to accept the Citadel
I was willing to accept the lack of choice.
I was EVEN willing to accept having to get blasted by that beam.
BUT WHEN THAT ****ING ELEVATOR STARTED, I broke a 167$ monitor.

Waking up after being hit by Harbingers' beam.
My honest gut reaction was "this is probably a dream or something" but then I thought that "oh this is some new ending mechanic, I guess I can live with that, let's see what happens once I enter the Citadel" . . . dot dot dot

The ending was going well right up to the point where the beam of light hit Shepard.
AS SOON AS THAT HAPPENED I went "Oh here we go with the metaphysical bull crap..."
Then the lil ghost kid walked up to me and I pulled this.

Everything was fine until the catalyst starts laying out your options. Everything about it is terrible.

When the Space Magic Elevator appeared. I'm still amazed the Shep happened to pass out in just the right spot.

I haven't actually completed the game, I can no longer bring myself to play.
Knowing there is no chance of seeing an epic win, which for me means a happily ever after for my Shepard, has drained my interest in the game.
The end of ME1 gave me goosebumps, it was so full of hope for both humanity and for shepard as an individual. The ends I have seen via video are terrifyingly sad for Shepard on a personal level.
If Shepard can survive then I need to see the end I need to see her stand up from the wreckage. I need to see the dancing in the streets, the hugging and the kissing. I need to see her find her LI and see them stride off to face the next challenge. That is my epic win.
Right now, I can't imagine ever pre-ordering another Bioware game. I have been a strong supporter of the company, former students of mine work there but this has shaken my confidence in their storytelling.
I dive headfirst into fantasy worlds to be entertained, delighted and to experience the epic win. Authors who have disappointed me to this extent lost me as a reader. I don't know if I'll buy another of your games, I really don't know. This makes me very sad.

Plot started to shake already on Rannoch when the downed reaper starts babbling about being the salvation of organics, when Sovereign had stated on virmire on no uncertain terms that organics were just an accident and only existed at the whim of the reapers.
Things began to fall apart when Shepard gets zapped by harbinger, but its when Shepard collapses and white light elevator starts moving that the entire thing just collapses like a house of cards.
