Stop me if this is a stupid question but on many plate pieces (and cloth pieces) it either states explicitly if it has stamina regeneration properties (such as 1.5 stamina regeneration) or mana regeneration properties. Examples being Libertian's Cowl or Warden Commander gear.

What I want to know is if the game treats the stat as the same thing, because Mana/Stamina and fatigue behave the same and it's only called mana for game-related purposes (aka, they draw their energies from the Fade as opposed to their own internal 'battery' so to speak. I say this because if you play an Arcane Warrior, it's not like you can find plate pieces that explicitly states that it regenerates mana at a certain rate.

TL;DR: Does it make sense for an Arcane Warrior to itemize with stamina regeneration because for your Magely warrior, it helps regenerate your mana instead?

Mana and Stamina are the exact same stat under the hood - both stamina and mana regen gear modify Regeneration_Stamina or Regeneration_Stamina_Combat.

Are you sure? So Andruil's Blessing (or whatever it's called) is really +2 regen? In game it's +1 stamina +1 mana.

That's what the description says.

The actual effect is likely a single +1 stamina/mana regeneration.

Not sure about regeneration, but I know items that give a bonus to your stamina pool will also increase the mana of an arcane warrior.

That's because they draw from the same stat of willpower.  Willpower increases stamina for non magic users and increases mana for magic users, doesn't it?

As far as the stamina regen gear I don't think it helps mana but that would be great if it did...  I don't really know and I was actually wondering this as well.

i hope it does.. at least for Arcane Warrior.. one would think it would.. with Magic traded for Strength and so on.. all the same.. it is all way to slow to regen during combat to make it really worth while for spell-casting.. but it does help to keep ones shimmering shield active for longer if you don't wast mana with spell-casting..

I am certain that it does help mana. This is based from my AW playthru.

A little thread necro going on. Stamina/Mana is the exact same thing.
