it seriously being a PAIN
in that Bioware seems that there is no reason why the PS3 gamers should get some possible MP goodies
-

at least they should at least give something to the PS3 players

-------

- i suspect that BW will not read this post at all
i have not rly seen any of BWs comments on the countless amounts of points made on these forums

It definitely sucks that PS3 owners keep getting shafted. What makes it even worse is that we get no explanation as to why. Some b.s. about "due to technical limitations." Well get around it! I didn't spend my hard earned money to get half the experience that someone else is getting.

it may not be BWs fault
but that does not mean that they should simply forget about PS3 users

At least you're keeping an open mind. Too many people have been jumping on the rage-train lately, without comfirmation that it's actually BW at fault in this case. As I've said before, I myself am a little disappointed we haven't gotten anything yet - but I highly doubt Boiware would shaft PS3 users out of some kinda' ill will.

True, but it doesn't help that Bioware remains silent. A comment here and there could clear up a lot of that rage.

My problem is if they knew PS3 users wouldn't be able to receive anything due to "technical limitations" why wouldn't they have said this challenge is only available for 360/PC users.. Unless I'm blind, I only found out about 5 minutes ago after clicking on a EA help link for the Goliath Challenge. I spent a good amount of time killing my share of Brutes and finding a team that could actually go all the way on Silver for Extraction : /...

their stanace on "technical limitations" could be a sideways way of saying it's all Sony. As a producer of Ps3 games if they say the fault is entirely with Sony or some new bullsh!t terms that make events harder to create, they could loose any contracts they get.

Sony wouldn't shoot themselves in the foot.... never mind Sony would totally shoot themselves in the foot.

Exactly what Anksara said. Bioware keeping us in the dark does not help them shed some light into the problem and bring comfort to those raging.

Everyone should get the special packs, AND the special events.

Didin't know those packs were Playstation 3 only. At least we get some compensation, which in a way is much better than the Operation Goliath awards.

Guys, let's keep asking Mass Effect for PS3
And don't start saying Microsoft has the rights, let's try to do something.
If Bioware listened to retake Mass Effect they can listen to us too :)
http://www.radioplay...-effect-on-ps3/
but we must ask ask ask until they don't clearly say: "NO NEVER"
Sheppard changed things, made impossible alliance, let's do things like he did. :)

@TrveOmegaSlayer, I will keep saying that Microsoft has the rights, because they do. It's there contract, Bioware is unable to port ME1 to the PS3 because of this reason. I think you need a wake up call.

Imagine someone's under your contract, and the're all like, well i don't care i'll do it anyway, depending on the contract, that person would be punished from light, to severe. In this case, Microsoft would probably gain boatloads of money of Bioware and who know's what else. As long as Microsoft has the publishing rights, there is no chance you will ever see Mass Effect 1 on the PS3.

@TrveOmegaSlayer, why don't you start your own topic on the ME being released on the PS3? So far I've only seen you try to rally ppl to your cause in threads ppl created to get attention about the PS3 being left out of the loop concerning events and special unlocks. Its a simple as posting on any other thread you know. Anyway,I called EA about buying spectre packs and not getting anything. While on the phone I asked the girl why the PS3 has been left out of so much of the ME3 events so far. She replied that she had heard from her side that Sony was the ones who said no to Bioware about letting the PS3 ppl join in on the events. So its something to do with Sonys part of it not Bioware. I started a petition on here to hopefully show Sony that we don't appreciate it and would like to participate in future events, so post on it so Sony can see we are wanting the PS3 to be included. Thanks.

It's bull**** that they won't just talk to us LIKE WE'RE PEOPLE. Instead, when they decide "oh yeah maybe we should answer a question or two so they'll shut up" we get some PR bull answer that doesn't make any sense at all. If it's not you who are keeping us out of these events, TELL US and we'll get on Sony's ass instead of yours, Bioware.

I think they're getting closer to finding a way around the technical problems. We were able to participate in the Post-Operation Goliath buildup for this weekends Promote Challenge. I understand if it's more difficult to port to the Ps3 over the 360. Ps3 is a tough piece of hardware to work with. It has higher specs than a base 360 and unfortunately it does require a complete re-work of the game to function properly on the console.

Just be patient lads. I know there's a lot of rage over us being excluded but just bear with it for a little bit. Honestly would you rather be paying microsoft for the ability to access the multiplayer features of the game (a la Live) or the ridiculous amounts of money to build a gaming rig for PC?

As a customer I expect the product to be as it's intended to be when I purchase it. The company made a compromise with their user base when they adquired rights to pubish Bioware games to the Sony Playstation 3 console. They in fact said that they can handle the production of games on the console. That being said, it's a stab in the back when we pay a full retail price like every other consumer of this game and we(PS3 users) get partial treatment regarding multiplayer ( not that I would participate of) and we get our pleas ignored.
