Apologies in advance if this is a repost.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional but I was able to restart a romance with Leliana after choosing Morrigan over her.  I'm also not sure what exactly triggered it so I'll try and be as detailed as possible.

Started a romance with Morrigan early (around Lothering) and really didn't romance Leliana but I gave her all her gifts to make room in my inventory.  After a while I eventually started a romance with Leliana until she confronted me about being with Morrigan and I persuaded her into thinking it was nothing.

From there I would quick save before talking to them (or anyone else) in camp until they both reached the ultimatium conversation; by this point I had both of their personal quests.  Reloaded to a save right before being presented with the ultimatium and avoided speaking to either of them.

By this point I was in Denerim and killed Marjolaine and hardened Leilana.  The next few times I entered camp, there were auto initated conversations with Leliana that superceded the ultimatium conversation.  So I was able to continue talking to her and finishing hardening her... still avoid converstions with Morrigan like an ex wife.

Finished the Sacred Urn quest and finally decided to to start the ultimatium conversation.  Spoke with Morrigan, told her she was my choice, then spoke with Leliana and told her I picked Morrigan.  Gave them both gifts to regain lost influence.  Spoke to Leliana and got the conversation about Andraste's ashes.  Spoke with her again and apologized for ending it then spoke to her a third time and asked about Marjolaine .

I think this is the crucial part, in that conversation I picked; "she was special to you" "have you felt this way about another person?" "everyone changes" and "I can only hope to one day be as special as she was to you." After all that I spoke to her a fourth time and got the greeting "I'm here for you" which you only get with high influence and romance.  Sure enough I picked "we need to talk" and saw the option to break up with her AGAIN.  Checked her influence and it's currently +85/Adore.

I spoke to Morrigan thinking "crap I'm in a negative influence loop" but she made no mention of Leliana this time and we're stil in a relationship.  Of course this could all backfire later as I haven't had a chance to progress much since it happened.
