I have given them positive feedback about the game, endings included. The average user rating on Gameinformer's website is a 9.5. There are a lot of people who like this game, but the detractors are louder and more adamant.
The great thing is we all are entitled to our opinion, though I don't see it as constructive to dismiss these claims from Bioware, or dismiss that people did enjoy the endings.

considering how surprisingly good MultiPlayer aspect of it is, vast majority are playing and enjoying the game in one way of another. I will admit, it makes me a bit sad when people willfully discard the sum of their entire game just so they can narrow it down to "3 colourful explosions" while in reality it so so much more.

The multiplayer is the most basic of basic MP. It's just shoot crap, click things, and survive for 11 rounds. You want good multiplayer? Red Dead is how you do it.

I would be interested in the demographics of these people who enjoy the ending.

25, female, bought the game day one in 2007, bought all comics/books/toys, huge fan of the series, lifelong gamer, adverse to big name shooters like CoD and MW, also enjoyed DA2.

I enjoyed the entire game, ending included.

Is anyone going to PAX? I'd love for someone to bring all of their quotes and misinformation up in a Q&A.

Someone needs to tweet back "so is Bioware willing to say this out loud at PAX?".

And the answer will either be a dodge or "no" because they know what they're saying is bullsh*t.

I have hope that 3's end will be fixed. Until it is I will hold the line. I will hold the line for the trilogy, I will hold the line for Bioware. I will hold the line for Shepard and I will hold the line for you! I hold the line because I must! I must because It's what Shepard would do!

WWSD! Hold the Line! Hold the Line Because you must! And on the day that Shepard returns to us let it because we did not fail him! Let it be we have faith! Let it be because we HELD THE LINE!

As a quick side note; anyone notice that a good many people praising them on their ending are buying into the Indoctrination Theory? I hope BioWare realizes that those people aren't going to be happy if they don't extend the ending through DLC to prove them right.

They're probably purposefully and blissfully ignorant.

I noticed this too. Quite a bit of people are liking the endings but in a sense that they believe that it was an indoctrination, or at least an attempt at it.

Eitherway, don't get discouraged guys. It's just standard PR talk.

You know what...I just hope they go bankrupt after this tweet...they deserve it...It pure ignorance, arrogance and they lied to us...is this going too far? I don't care seriously..that how I feel and I stand to how I feel

I just hope that all you guys saying that this ending destroyed you and that you were lied too....won't just go and buy the next ''BIG Bioware title like some kind of sheeps...

Stand strong to what you say

If that is what you think than you haven't been reading the user reviews here on the forum, as many of the reviews had more to say about problems within the game that went beyond "3 colorful explosions" and I'm one of them as well.

Although as far as I'm concerned that was the ulitmate killer for ME3 for me.

Guys...seriously. He/she tries and clarifies that they are acknowledging both sides of the argument. They are not intentionally trying to belittle one side or another. Just keep being civil and don't cause a riot yet.

I loved the ending. Don't think your opinions is a consensus. Merely a vocal minority on internet forums.

When ME1 was released, the internet lit up with positive reviews from the consumers.

When ME2 was released, the internet lit up with positive reviews from the consumers.

When ME3 was released, the internet lit up with negative reviews from the consumers.

Everyone took the positive feedback from the consumers for ME1 and ME2 to be legit.  Now that the same consumers are complaining about ME3 suddenly they are a "vocal minority"?  Sorry, neither you nor Bioware get to look one way for ME1/ME2 and look the opposite way for ME3.

Well said!

Bioware? Where are you? Come out where ever you are and COME ARGUE THIS!

Thought this deserves an extra thread because the Bioware Twitter-Account obviously tries to downsize the "Take back ME" movement.

That he/she/whoever is writing is getting this impression is surprising if you take a look at their twitter feed.

So, hold the line!

Edit: Ok, if someone can tell me how to properly implement Twitter-Messages I would be grateful.

The whole tweet (with answers and further comments):

lol, plenty of people who love the ending, just because Bioware is making fake twitter accounts and sending themselves positive feedback doesn't make it true. They need to check the polls, forums and gaming sites, they need to stop denying the ending is anything but awful and do right by their fans, acknowledge they didn't live up to their promises and give this epic series the ending it deserves (don't get me wrong, it doesn't have to end with sunshine and flowers but it needs a solid ending that provides conclusion to this part of the Mass Effect story not makes things even more confusing).

The people who defend the ending are almost entirely made up of those who buy into the indoctrination or halluncination theories.

I have seen NO ONE AT ALL, be able to defend the Normandy scene in any way other than Halluncination. It is utter and abysmal nonsense.

The problem with the ending is either a) it is riddled with plot holes, or B) it was all in Shepard's head which means the concluding game of the series really DIDN'T have a conclusion.

So either the ending is terribly written or else the game doesn't have a real conclusion at all.

I used to think that this was all just an intentional ploy and Bioware had a DLC waiting. But with the price going down no way that was the truth. They would have announced something way before they reduced the price.

Just remember that there really aren't many people out there that liked the ending - at least completely.

There's really nothing else BioWare PR can say. Internally, BioWare is having very different conversations.

This may not be over in a month, so pace yourselves for a long haul.

Once MP gets old I think I'm just going to trade my Collector's Edition in, I honestly have not seen anyone on these forums I can take seriously who liked the ending. For them to post something like this with the very vocal outcry from what is not a minority of fans is just insulting.

I think that is Great that you liked the ending and I am glad you didn't find any issues
I wish i could feel the same.

Maybe you can help me clear up a few questions I had about the game

Did you try all 3 endings?
If so then why when you choose the red ending Destroy the reapers
Do the geth and EDI get destroyed.
I was able to remove the reaper code from there hub so how did the weapon effect them
and EDI had no Reaper code

If you chose the Green ending Then why was Joker changed to part organic and part synthetic
But EDI remained the same.

If the Cruciple was created by past civilazations , How come the GodChild knew what it would do
and besides that why would past civilazations create a weapon that would leave them such bad choices
and also destroy their way of getting around the universe.

and in the final scenes of the grandfather and child on the planet not Organic and synthetic when I choose the green ending.

Also If you destroyed the reapers which means you killed of all synthetics then what about the organic reaper muntants. How where they destroyed?

there are other questions I have but if you can please help me and answer these I will feel much better

This can be easily cleared up.

As I said earlier someone should tweet Bioware and tell them to ask for a show of hands and/or applause at PAX....one time for who likes the ending, and another for who hates it.

This would quickly end the "who is the vocal minority" argument.

Is anyone surprised people like the ending?

Keep in mind a lot of people like awful things. Two and A Half Men is one of the most watched shows in America. Katy Perry is one of the most listened to music acts.

Most of the people I see liking the ending, like it for very generic reasons. They don't care about how it fits with the rest of the plot, they just care that Shepard sacrificed himself for the greater good. So it's tragic, and heroic.

Bleh.

Losing faith in humanity.
