Issue 1 was included in with CE and I thought it was pretty interesting, I did not even know Dark Horse Comics had a digital store before you mentioned it.

$6.99 for all four issues is a steal in my opinion, that it comes with the Collector Assult Rifle too is just the cherry on the cake.

I guess some people are still going to give Bioware money even though there is this whole thing about wanting the ending to be fixed , etc...

If Bioware/EA continue to get money from the general public, nothing will ever get achieved by the community. IMO

Hmm, since this is still apparently available today (the "by 21 March" really can me taken in two ways), I guess I could jump on it... mostly for the comics themselves, but the rifle would be a nice bonus.

This is really only referring to the multiplayer promo item: the Collector Assault Rifle.

This isn't about the endings (which I hate myself).

This is only to put out word about getting the Collector Rifle for just $7 when the only other avenues at the moment are price gaugers on eBay.

I don't think they'll start sending it until the deals over. I made 5 different accounts on Dark Horse and bought the Invasion on each account xD. 35$ for level V, well worth it IMO.

Alternitively, if the game is not a revenue source they won't put any effort into patching the game, because it's just not a valid investment of their time and money.

Anyway, I had already been thinking of getting the comics, and I'm glad someone pointed out that you can get minor DLC if you buy the digital version. To the  iPad!

I contacted dark horse directly and they replied with this info in an email- We will be sending the codes via email after the promotion ends on 3/21, to the same email address you used for your DH account.- If you purchase all 4 issues of Mass Effect: Invasion anytime before the promotion ends - including purchases made before it started - you qualify to get a code.- If you purchase The Art of Mass Effect Universe anytime before the promotion ends - including purchases made before it started - you qualify to get a code.- If you purchase both The Art of Mass Effect Universe and all 4 issues of Mass Effect: Invasion - you will receive 2 codes (in 2 separate emails) and those codes will stack.- If you purchase either The Art of Mass Effect Universe or all 4 issues of Mass Effect: Invasion as part of a "bundle," it counts the same is if buying individually for the purposes of this promotion. We will be looking at the single books in your Collection, not how they were purchased.

You just described majority of the guns. But people are still begging for a diamond or platinum difficulty.

For me, if the guns are only useful on bronze, then I'll only play bronze. I want the game to be fun & enjoyable, I'm not looking for a tedious chore. I don't want to make my blood pressure go up & be frustrated out of my mind.  And I'm definitely not looking for bragging rights (people that play on gold don't impress me). If I can use all the weapons in the game & have fun then Bronze will do just fine. MP is already getting dull & boring so I'll take all the new guns I can get to spice things up.

Damn, I just noticed this: Codes will be emailed to you at the address you used to sign up for the Digital Store Account by March 23rd, 2012. I was hoping to get the code sometime today, but it looks like I'll have to wait til tomorrow.

They are covering their bases since they might need to send quite a few codes out. I haven't received mine yet either.

While the ending breaks my heart and I don't like it.. the fact is: It is their story. ME is their baby, their story, their dream. Back in the days before MMOs you played a game and you liked it or you didn't like it.... you didn't demand that the company change the story to how you wanted it. You just played it.  Now will I get the new ending if they release it? You betchya but if they decide not to.. it is their story they have the right.

Also... none of this has anything to do with the ending. This was a VERY generous and kind hearted post by a random stranger helping people to :

A) not get screwed on Ebay for a few days
get a gorgeously done awesome DLC weapon they otherwise would never be able to afford, by drawing attention to a limited time promotion.

The money goes to Dark Horse as well it isn't a direct Bioware promotion.  And again its a weapon... in multiplayer.. it really has nothing to do with the ending chaos currently going on.

I haven't gotten the rifle code yet.  They said they would email them by the 23rd, which I now take to mean that they will email them on the 23rd.
