Clearly you underestimated how hardcore a community you have.
If you want silver challenge to be a challenge, make it a full extract. It would cut down on the successes, I'm sure.

360.  Just ran into it today.  LIVE profile and EA account issues apparently from what research is telling me...

Something you can try is performing maintenence/ clear your cache on the hard drive to remove the patches. *Digs through piles for the info*

to clear your cache:



Go to System Settings > Memory, then highlight the hard drive and press Y for "Device Options". Choose "Clear System Cache".



It says something like "This will perform maintenance on your hard drive". Select Yes.



It takes a few seconds. Then when you play a game again, it will ask for
it's update again.

The patch may have been improperly applied, causing some corruption at runtime. Keep in mind this will remove ALL Patches for ALL the games you have played.

Didn't work... that was pretty much the last thing to try.  Apparently it is an issue with EA having an issue on their end in terms of the accounts linking to their server.

So I went back just now to look at the stats on the crusader, because I didnt even care to the first time, and of course, it is useless... The heaviest shotgun I have, with almost the lowest damage, and not even a higher firing rate, or ammo capacity... Why is this an N7 "ultra" rare weapon again?

The Crusader's strength is long range. It's like a sniper's shotgun. It fires one round perfectly straight. Think of it like a rail gun. And it's damage capacity is great for it's range. That's why its rare and a pretty good shotgun for long range encounters

The slow fire rate ensures absolutely zero accuracy drop off, and the Crusader can pull off some nice headshots in close range. However, I stress that close range is not it's strength since it's fire rate is low.

hey, try and just laugh it off or 4-get about it.. i bought mass 3 for my ps3 when i have a rig but i didnt want to deal w/ a certain company.. and i figured that part 1 was good on the 360 and mass 2 was fine on the ps3 so i just grabbed the ps3 ce edition.. i dont have any regrets other than a few bugs the patched up pretty fast and tbh i  was feeling the same as you, it being about principle, but its not worth getting down over. and i agree, E.A is actually giving ps3 timed dlc'c for battlefield 3 early w/ the new map packs just like they did w/ b2k dlc and early access to beta, so i just know this, there is nothing that will reverse anything and this is coming from a guy who was feeling the same way .. i did do some research into why but i wont get into it here, its not the time or place. all i will say is that if they chose to give ps3 owners a recruit pack or something,so as long as "one has network access as well as a mass 3 online pass".  things arent always fair, but its about whats worth your time thinking/getting down about.. world events, lifes daily occurances and digital packs, i think we will survive the lack of a crusader.. and eventually anything and everything will make it back full circle to the store, whether through dlc or the packs in the future.. one thing i learned if nothing else with all "exclusives,rares and one chance items", usually nothing is..
reason why im spending so much time on this reply is because sometimes the actual comments/replies for fellow gamers can be more aggrvating than the situation. when i first found out about the event i posted my concerns, just like you but after that i was done because i knew it was doing nothing to resolve the situation. and then i reached out to certain parties and got some info about what happened. thats usually works out better than opinions/theories. 
but i did come on because i still hope other gamers had fun/good items etc, there are many good people on here even though they may be gaming w/ a different platform, for every 1 that may be a bit (insert), there are 75 that arent.

well thats it for my rambles, hopefully everyone had fun and got something w/ a very very long barrel that will punch a hole staright through a cerb's chestplate and out the back.

The Commendation Pack showed up about 45 minutes ago for me, and I got the Hurricane it's awesome! Can't wait for the next N7 Challenge!

EDIT: Apparently I'm the only one happy with what they got? Seeing a lot of people disliking the Hurricane and the Crusader and wanting the Eagle, except for the one guy who got the Eagle and wanted the Crusader. Strong irony in this thread...

Getting the N7 Valiant Rifle was sweet indeed, would be sweeter if i could use the single player version, you know, if they fixed that little import bug....

Your N7 weapon comes in the Commendation Pack. You will receive it soon.

Agreed. If I had the Crusader in MP, I would think it would be a perfect fit for Asari and Drell Vanguards since their powers are more long-range oriented rather than close-range, not to mention they are a bit squishy.

Unfortunately, once you get the Geth Plasma Shotgun the Crusader is rendered slightly useless. Unless you are looking for easy mail slot shots

It isn't just you. I got the Eagle which is the exact weapon I wanted:D. Congrats to all that are pleased with what they got. To everyone else, be gratful that you received a free weapon.

Anyone else didn't get theirs? Spent most of Sunday working on this, finally managed a silver/reaper extraction with 1 party member surviving (not me), was well within the timeline (with about half a day left), and online feedback was on (never changed it and got credit towards achievements). So, worked hard for this, now where's my bloody commendation pack? All I got was the victory one.

Still no Commendation pack and the store just stole another 33grand for me......time to get nasty with the support about both things.

Edit: Ah Correction, remembered wrong and thought thyey delivered until 8 when it was 9 so guess I have to wait anither hour to see if I wanna go berserk at the support  ^^
