Yeah I played with it a little in story. I'm kind of disappointed with all the extra n7 weapons. I didn't expect them to be godlike, but most of them have a better replacement. I like weapon variety, but alot of the weapons in this game aren't even viable.
I'm actually appreciating the valkyrie (fully upgraded) and the sniper, but besides that the n7 weapons kind of suck.
What I hate is that they took weapons that people liked (such as the mattock, the phalanx and the incisor) and changed them. There's no more lazer site on the phalanx, which was the primary reason I liked it, and it's not nearly as powerful anymore.. The incisor doesn't shoot quickly anymore, so you often only hit your enemy once, and the mattock isn't as powerful as it was in me2. They've kind of botched up the weapons in me3, if you ask me.).
