OMG a topic not about endings! Who was your favourite character in the Mass Effect Universe and why?

Suprise, suprise mine was The Illusive Man. I loved the character, his different way of examining choices that needed to be made and his overall demeanour. Plus Martin Sheen is my president.

Garrus. Best in ME and best character of all time.

It's an equal tie between Shepard and Kaidan. Although choosing Shep is kinda cheating, since the player forms the character. So, for the sake of this thread, I'd say Kaidan. He's sweet, romantic, awkwardly adorable, a bit more reserved than the others, but still funny and has a heart of gold.
And maybe his voice has something to do with it. Just maybe.

Outside shepard himself? Has to be Garrus. I honestly think a bromance with him is far better than a romance would be with femshep,

I also think Bioware did a really awesome job with the Illusive Man, definitely one of the better antagonists throughout the series.

Garrus goes without saying, but Legion was one of my favorites just because I really enjoyed how the Geth had such a unique perspective from organics.
