I always want to respond "You know.  You're right.  I'm going to withdraw my donation.  But I don't want to hurt the kids, so I presume you will replace my donation because I gave it for all the wrong reasons yes?"

(note, didn't donate for the wrong reasons, just pointing out how absurd it is to try and paint charity donations a negative light for something like this)
