Thank goodness someone else wanted the pistol too. For the last page of people complaining about the "sucky" eagle, I thought I was just bad at the game or something for wanting/liking pistols and being bad at the other weapons.

If the N7 weapons are similar to the SP varients, the only weapon worth anything is the pistol. The sniper's damage is inadequate, the SMG's recoil is insane, and the shotgun's damage is inadequate and very heavy. The eagle is automatic fire, balanced stats, and good damage.

I really had hopes for the Eagle but i got the Crusader which is useless to me.

Won't be using that...another SMG in the bin of unused weaponry. The shotgun would've been my preference.

Talking about sucky, the trend of the packs hating me continues.

Victory pack - Shotgun.

Special vet pack - 2 shotguns.

Commendation pack - N7 Hurricane

Who even uses SMGs? I don't think i've run across anyone in all my games that uses an SMG except me one time because I unlocked a Locust and I felt like an idiot.

"REMOVE BARRIERS WITH HIGH RATE OF FIRE WEAPONS" -> Sit there shooting a banshee with a Locust -> Reload -> Reload -> Reload -> YESSS I GOT OFF 1 TICK OF BARRIER

Just opened the commendation pack and got the valiant.

That DOESN'T SOUND RIGHT for the commendation pack. It was supposed to include a weapon that no one else could get without it. Like the shotgun, valiant, etc. Are you sure that was the commendation pack and that you didn't just open the "Advanced Veteran Pack?"

Yes, my fault, Commendation pack prompted now with an Eagle, before I bought a Special Vet pack, not commendation.

The eagle isnt too bad its almost as strong as the carnifex but a much faster fire rate

I got the Valiant. I would've liked the Heavy Pistol, but I'm happy with this. Just glad I didn't get the Hurricane.

I got the Eagle... but I already have the Carnifex, and don't think I'll be replacing it for anything short of the Paladin, and we'll see about that, even. Carnifex is ungodly.

Edit: I also have the Collector's Edition, and have had a chance to play around with all the guns for a few weeks now.
