This is how it works.

Most people think the unlocks are random but this is not the case.
The game has a built in stat tracker that looks at all the weapons you use and gives you none of them.
I never used Shotguns, all i wanted was a damn widow.
every spectre pack was shotguns, shotguns, shotguns.

then i started using Shotguns...

2x Widow and a Saber later i love my shotguns!
start using shotguns and you'll get the gun you want.

as for my commendation pack i got the Eagle.
tested it out on some bronze just running at the enemy with my finger on the trigger yelling
"THIS TRAIN HAS NO BREAKS!"

Ah, figures. I opened the Victory pack that's why. Could not finish a Silver cause I ended getting booted from the lobbies, awell. Win some you lose some I suppose.

That sucks. Hopefully it won't be long before the next event rolls around and you get better luck next time.

Nothing, because being the paranoid person I am about EA, I turned data tracking off first thing when I got the game. I had no idea I had to be on for this challenge until today, but now it is too late. I did my silver run, but since ai had tracking off, I got nothing. Maybe I can try Xbox support?

While I can see that as being suspect I can't say I agree with this because I mainly use my Mantis X with my Salarian Infiltrator and guess what? I got the N7 Valiant. It really is just luck of the draw I'm afraid.

I got the N7 Valiant Sniper Rifle. Tested it out on my SI and it's actually not too shabby. I've only played a Silver match so far, so I'll have to reserve final judgement until I play a gold with it whether or not I'll take it over a Widow.

Got the Eagle. Fine by me, was hoping for that or the Hurricane, don't have nearly enough variety in my side arms so this makes a nice addition.

I didn't mind not getting the N7 I wanted in the victory pack, but it kinda sucks not being able to get something I wanted this time around.

N7 Falcon. No Sniper Rifles ever, all shotguns from packs, so I started using Geth Plasma Shotfun on my infiltrator. I guess game knows it, so now its Assault Rifles for me!

Problem I have with the shotgun is its weight. I'm a skills kinda player more than weapons, so I only load out with 1 gun. I need that fast recharge. I'm no stranger to shotguns, especially on my Krogan Soldier, but I don't see myself using this one.

I got the Crusader. It's ok, but nothing to write home about. The weight is pretty insane, and it's rank one.

Is there two different packs? I got the Victory pack instead of Commendation even if I did clear the Reapers on silver. Got a crappy tempest instead.
