Their nerfing is inocnsistent. I understand they may not have the time to implement all these changes but now with the dead falcon Biotic explosions are going to be even more over the top.

The refire rate would only affect the host anyways. But the ammo makes me cry as it was already fairly limited.


On a side note. Why didn't bioware fix all the other crappy guns!?

I know I just realized it, like a goof. :P

The Phaeston boost is nice, but I was hoping for a Geth Rifle boost. I like the way it looks, and it makes me sad that I can't use it. :(

The fire rate adjustment on the falcon was necessary, in my opinion. The fact it was a staggering AoE weapon with super fast firing speed was unbalanced.

The capacity adjustment, however, was way uncalled for in my opinion. It's capacity was already it's greatest limiting factor. Seems a bit excessive to me, but I guess only further testing will tell.

The rest of the adjustments look awesome. It doesn't fix every balance issue in the game, but no one patch is going to.

And hey, maybe he's American? I've seen a few Bioware dudes profess love for certain NFL teams, so they probably have a few Americans on staff? Unless Canadians have stopped being snobs about football, in which case, high fives are in order.

The new rate of fire is considerably slower than you had to shoot when off-host to ensure each shot registered.

I'm liking the buffs to engineer drones and turrets but.

However, the falcon nerf was rough. I see the rate of fire time being reasonable, but the ammo decrease? come on, it was already quite low. I guess it isn't that bad considering there is a little time in between shots now, plus ammo packs litter the map...plus thermal clip resupply spam from packs haha.

Wish there was a Geth pulse rifle buff, but at least you buffed the rev and phaeston.

They went overboard. The ammo change was NOT needed at all, and the firing rate thing, while not *TERRIBLE* could have been about half as severe and still rectified the weapon nicely. To be honest, it's digusting. It's starting to seem like only ability classes are allowed to be worth using. Even the weapons, the majority of the weapons worth using are either sniper rifles or pistols. Shot guns have 1-2 viable choices on gold, SMG's have MAYBE one (Hornet.), Assault Rifles are, for a very large part, useless on gold due to the fragility of the soldier classes.

This is ridiculous.

No restrictions on ammo, Biotic Explosions being insanely strong. (Seriously, my Asari adept can warp -> throw nemesi, centurions, troopers, ect to death. Falcon VIII? 3 shots to kill a freaking Assault trooper.

Clearly someone at Bioware was like, wellllll if they're firing less shots per second, we need to decrease the ammo capacity or else they will have to reload half as much.

Obviously they didn't factor that the person who was likely only carrying the one weapon will still have to fire as many shots to kill enemies slower and will instead have to return for more ammo more often.

Basically just nerfed the crap out of soldiers.

Oh well, time to spam biotic explosions instead.

The Falcon is far from useless, it still has AOE. 

You simply can't just use it alone now or use it to pwn phantoms to hell(which is kinda lame i would have preferred a damge nerf) 

It's on par with most other Guns now. It's just really bad when compared to the top tier of the black widow/Widow/Carn/Paladin which have been begging for nerfs just as much as the falcon. 



It's on par with the lower tier assault rifles now.
Which is to say terrible.

Sentry turret armor is doubled? I just checked and my QE turret HP has been bumped from 850 to 1700.

Interesting how that's gonna work out since I made pretty effective use of it already.

Seriously though, whoever works on these things? Start doing nerfs in an incremental fashion. Thwapping things around with the nerf-bat just because they're useful doesn't make the game more fun.

Infiltrators actually need skill/accuracy. Adepts are powerful but require team play for fast explosions. Neither need to be nerfed as they require a certain amount of skill and/or teamwork. If anything some of the other classes could get a buff but that's it.
