Getting pretty tired of these no-name ****** article writers pandering to their employers. Articles like these are too little, too late. The damage has been done and there's nothing corporate husks like this guy can do to reverse it.

Does Patcher have inside information about how many of us are dissatisfied with the ending.
Because I'd really like to know, and I'd bet, so would Bioware.

And how come Bethesda, a AAA game-maker could change the ending in Fallut 3 without looking like wimps?
I love the fact that they admitted they were wrong and changed the ending.

Nothing we haven't heard before. What bugs me is if they change/alter the ending...that somehow Bioware will be wimps for listening to their fans. When Halo Reach first came out there was a myriad of complaints, among them was weapon bloom. So what did they do? They added playlists where there was zero bloom. People who liked bloom still had playlists they could play...and people who didn't like bloom had a playlist they could play.....win/win. I'm not saying it's going to be that easy...but why is listening to the fans a bad thing?

I'm having a hard time understanding how people can appreciate
the ending. I can understand people who doesn't really care, but to LIKE it?
I'm finding that difficult to comprehend.

I personally really despise the endings.
Especially the part where the Normandy crew are stranded on a remote planet.
How is that closure? How can anyone be contempt with such an ending?

If it exists, someone likes it. There's rule #34 as an internet version of this adage.

Im not sure what pachter does i forgot but i know he appears on gametrailers.com. I dont know what facts he is looking at. Definitely not a minority unless he's blind and just does not care to look at everything from the price drop on Amazon and he must not come here at all. Otherwise he would understand unless he refuses to see, that we have a legitimate gripe.

Looks like these guys are in worse denial than they think we are in about the endings. Its hilarious how everyone is trying to downplay the Retake ME3 movement.

Exactly. There's a reason Bethesda is one of the most beloved studios by their fans.

...So, who wants to organize a "Let's all return Mass Effect 3 to the stores on the same day" event?

Heh, doesn't even make an argument, just outright insults and says we have no rights. What a worthless troll.

And have even gone from strength to strength since then. Look at Skyrim, holy ****, it fills in one of the few weaknesses I felt their previous games had: narrative.

Ladies and gentlemen, express your distaste on the Twitter of one Michael Pachter, but PLEASE be civil; lest we be exactly the fanbase he thinks we are!

I used to think Todd Howard was an arrogant ass.
But he stood up and admitted he was wrong, so even if he had displayed arrogance at times, he knew when the fans were right and he wasn't. He didn't look like a wimp, he looked like someone who gained my respect.

Yes even though you had to pay for the DLC, it was developed after the fact and I can understand that.

In response to this and the people that claim it's a vocal minority, can someone work some Youtube magic on this? I think it's very pertinent.

Who is Michael Pachter

Meh. If I wanted advice about mutual funds or securities, I'd ask an investment banking analyst. I have no idea why I would want his advice about video games.

Personally I wouldn't bother giving him the attention he so obviously craves.

"Then, consumers will learn that they are wimps, and will complain about 'Madden NFL' because their quarterback doesn't throw the ball far enough."

Lol this guy is an idiot. I normally don't say that, I respect peoples views but this guy clearly has no idea what he's talking about. At least in this case. Never heard of him before this.

LMAO People have been complaining about Madden for years. The only difference is, EA has exclusive rights to the NFL brand, and there are no legitimate alternatives if you want to play an NFL game. It's either Madden, or nothing. It's literally a captive audience for all intents and purposes for most NFL fans.

With ME, people have a lot of other options to get their RPG and/or Shooter fix.

F@ck him, as if he can really argue with the fact that consumers have every right to complain about a product that they are disappointed with. This is a market economy (in theory), if bioware wants to continue to sell their products well, then I suggest they listen to their loyal consumers.
