1. This guy is a supposed "analyst" he makes outrageous claims that almost never turn out to be true, so why should I or anyone else believe whatever crap he comes up with?
2. "Objective reviews"? Are you f*cking kidding me? Reviews ARE NEVER objective. They are the opinion of a writer about a game. Some writers give a game 7.5, others give it a 9 some reviews about the same game vary even more, why? Because reviews are based on opinions, not facts and are therefore subjective. Not to mention, some companies are just biased (IGN) which makes their reviews as far from objective as can be. Just goes to show how much he knows.
3. He talks about the "business side of games"???? Wow... Jus wow.
Apparently he doesn't know sh*t about businesses either. We might be a minority, but we're far from a small one. We're just the hardcore gamers and fans that actually are trying to accomplish something, but I can guarantee because I've seen it, there are MANY more gamers that were completely dumbfounded and baffled by how big of a disappointment the ending was... They just don't feel like changing it. However it is we the hardcore gamers and fans that have the greater say on a game because we're more vocal about it and thus by word of mouth more people get interested in what we promote. You don't want your most loyal customers going against you... Trust me on that.
4. It won't affect EA???
I'd like to point out there's about 50.000 gamers angry about what happened. Some of us won't buy EA/BioWare games again and we certainly won't buy their DLC. I'd also like to point out some gamers are looking for refunds, some are cancelling their SWTOR accounts, some are bombing the consumer Reviews in sites like Metacritic. The overall critic review may be high, but the consumer reviews are as low as can be. The price of the game has already been lowered in many outlets only 2 weeks after release, and some gamers even returned their copies meaning there's a possibility people who haven't bought the game yet buy the used version which means money not going to EA/BioWare. It's also safe to assume we are the ones that buy Collector's editions from them... For a company that makes billions, we may not be much, but they will notice it.
