1st: this thread is forgotten.
2nd: They didnt fixed the freaking EMPTY SHOT bug, You can shoot all you want, there is no ammo flying out. I can shoot 3 times .. and nothing comes out, and i got Gang Rape.
3rd: No one officially posted anything about the nerf? It was posted by some gamers that noticed the change. WTF?

I haven't forgotten, but I've moved on out of necessity. Falcon is absolutely useless, there's never a good reason to have it now.

They should've compensated the lack of rate of fire with more attack damage. Its freakin useless now.

I havent forgotten either, my Falcon gathers dust and I am forced to play either an Adept or an Engineer if I want a gold invite. Now I actualy play the power spammer classes I anticipate a mega nerf any second.

Oh and I dont give a rats ass about all those lolsnipers who only care about their shot.... and dont see anything of the bigger picture because one eye is glued to the scope and the other is on their meaningless score.

Obviously, this is not all snipers.... just like there are actualy a few Vanguards that dont suck.

They destroyed this weapon. The only way to get a kill with it is ti leech off someone elses kills. By the time you take down an enemy shield/health someone else will run over and steal your kill before you can fire your last shot because it's slow ROF.

So damn stupid. Why is it important to nerf weapons in a COOP GAME!?

It still has some serious hit detection issues in multiplayer. Until Bioware fixes this issue no amount of tweaking will help.

I still say they seem to have nerfed it because they cannot fix the bullets/grenades disappearing..
which I am not surprised.. as other weapons do vanish randomly too...
that includes rockets.. or after depleting the shields of an enemy and using the widow quick.. the widow will do no damage.

to resume, please.. bioware.. FIX YOUR LOUSY NETCODE.

It's still not enough damage even after the 3/27 patch. I use it to cryo enemies and let others mop up... Needs to be around 400 damage and double the AOE

I tried it today again and yes it got a bit higher damage but the nerf of attack speed still just kills it. You can't go fight with the Falcon because you will be shot before you can defend yourself so you are forced to stay in cover and play passive.

It sucks hard to shoot one bullet each 3 seconds... it feels like that.

The problem with disappearing grenades wasn't that big before the nerf now it is worse than in the past. I sticked to the strategy to wait half a second before shooting the next shot and all was fine. now I wait longer and they still disappear.

And nerfing so hard in a coop game is useless.

I think this weapon is designed more for those who has a diversion, like the engineer class...

pair it up with a Salarian.... use decoy.. and stagger everyone who tries to mob the decoy.

Actually, if you wait for the recoil to go all the way down, you can fire again and won't miss. Kind of a workaround but reduces fire rate even further.


Offtopic: Can someone remind me how the Armor piercing mod works, the "Ignore Defenses on Armored Targets" part?
Also, I think that mod doesn't work with the Falcon (can't kill guardians through their shields for example)

I love how you say it got wrongly nerfed, when in fact you were playing with good people and you were only beating them due to the falcon, i say it got rightly nerfed.

I still can't wrap my head around a grenade launcher that does such piddly damage. I actually like that they reduced the rate of fire, but they need to increase the gun's damage to be twice what it is, even after the recent damage buff.

Oh and the disappearing grenade bug?  Yeah they've got fix that no matter how they try to "balance" this gun.

I'd kinda like it if they turned the Falcon into another super-heavy weapon (like the Jav) and further up its damage. It's a frickin grenade launcher, those things are heavy!

Lol twice the damage? There is so much absurd crying here it makes me laugh. I won two gold runs with a flacon in my hands last night. Area damage is a serious benefit. Not only does it still do damage if you miss, it does damage to everyone if you miss.

I seriously cannot imaging this gun before the nerf. It must have been SOOOOOO BUSTED!

What about "Defenses Ignored" (not piercing damage), this allows me to do more damage to armored targets? (brutes, ravagers etc.)

That's some piddly area damage.  And the actual area of effect is piddly too.  Seriously, a gun that has to have clumped targets, and by clumped I mean practicaly hugging, to do anything at all is not a good gun.  Presently the Falcon does less DPS than nearly every gun in the game, by a fair margin in fact.  Its small AOE is hardly enough to balance that out.  But hey, I guess it would be okay with the retarded Geth piling around a Decoy.  Those poor sythentic fools...

And just to be clear, if they make a massive increase to the weapon's weight that would be fine.  The gun just needs some actual punch.  It's a freaking grenade launcher after all.
