The gun wasnt that overpowered it worked great against crowd control with weaker enemies. My total point score at end of match was put to shame by the Drell Adepts and their reave. Does Bioware not want us to have fun or something?
The falcon is so heavy you can only equip that one weapon i used it for my Turian Sentinel and my Engineers. It was great loved that weapon and not all my friends liked using it. The weight also effected my cooldowns on biotics. I hope this gets reassessed and they up the fire rate at least its ridiculously useless now..
On top of that its not Player vs Players so it doesnt effect anyone but the NPCS. i sure as hell wasnt clearing gold on my own with this gun.
now im forced to use starting weapons its a real shame had ALOT of fun with this gun in matches and it was only lvl 1..
now im left using SMG's and a pistol :/
I will forever miss you Falcon you were my go to gun in Multiplayer

If the goal was to get people to use other classes/builds/weapons ... this was the wrong decision. I had two builds that relied heavily on the Falcon as a crowd-control/anti-cover weapon. The pre-nerf Falcon did NOT give any distinct advantage over any other players - however it added significantly to team-based assaults; in fact most people I played with thought I was nutz for using the Falcon until they realized how it added to the team's efforts. The other day I had not realized the nerf happened when I jumped into a Gold match with a Falcon Build and my charcter ultimately lead to the quick downfall of the team becasue I couldn't even kill a fly on the wall! Names were called, ridicule ensued ... not a fun game experiance at all.
Ironically, the N-7 Shotgun on level 1 is more powerful than anything else I've tried ... it shoots thru light cover (like widow), the ADS is freaking accurate (headshots from other side of map). Where is the logic in that? --- I mean, yeah I ALWAYS grab a shotgun when I want to snipe! lol
If you wanted to fix something, try looking at the guns collecting cob-webs (incisor for example) ... that could be a really useful gun if it was tweaked a little more. Bring back the Falcon and fix the actual "blank-shot" issues affecting it and multiple other guns.

If I had to venture a guess, I think that the falcon's firing rate (and possibly its damage) will get buffed a little. It won't be nearly as rapid as it was pre-tweak, but that's fine.
If any of the Bioware team is reading this, please consider this adjustment :-)

I was thinking the same thing, anything that makes player earn credit more faster bioware will nerf the hell out of it.

Yea its called lockdown.
I'll lockdown a group of 4-6 pyros/hunters/troops/centrions, etc. Hell I'll even lockdown bosses.

Before anything else though they need to fix the glitch where half of your shots don't register (same thing on the scorpion too).

Whether or not it took too heavy a hit is a different story. Maybe it did, maybe it didn't. It still needed a nerf like the elcor need stated social intent.
