Whilst I "got" the ending sequences, or made my own interpretation of things at least, I did find them rather un-fulfilling. Seemed rather "incomplete".

Don't think so. The age ranges reported in this thread are pretty high in variance.

That being said, 24 and emotionally gutted by the ending.

I don't think age matters, i'm 22 and I hate the ending, so does my friends little brother and his friends, and they're 14-15

Doesn't it just make it that much worse that your family don't remotely understand why you are so affected?

Don't think it's related, all you'll see will be more people hating/loving the end around the average player age (something like 30yo).
BTW, I'm 27, and hates the end.

I've come across other games with poor endings but in this case it's the drop off from everything that went before that makes it so much worse.

BioWare accomplished something... they united all age groups against their idea what a good ending is .
I'm 33 and the ending made me feel empty, like a bad ending to a relationship.
I really never want to see that piece of "art" ever again.
