31, and that ending felt like a kick in the teeth.
And, if anyone's keeping track, I have a major in lit and am an almost published novelist (sold a book, then the publisher folded).
(And, really? The poll only runs up to 26? Given I am the youngest of my circle of friends and we all play Bioware games--and we all hated the ending....)

28 female, cried like a widow, hated how bleak it was but in general like bleak endings. Just not this one.
Boyfriend's 34. He was completely ambivalent/hated it. Related it to the end of Battlestar Galactica, as in, "There's no reason for me to ever revisit this, because you killed it. Good job. I'm no longer interested."
It killed the entire trilogy/franchise for both of us. He's replaying it on insanity for achievements and literally skipping past every bit of dialogue because he just doesn't care. I can't even make myself replay it.
So depressing. This franchise could have lasted.

its not the age number we should be looking at
its the IQ number...
fromt he person who says the endings in an indocerination ending... which equals "fake ending" which tells me you also think the ending was crap and just trying to rationalize it.
30... wtf? ending.

25 and the endings are a complete joke and a slap in the face to anybody of any age... they are an insult to every fan of the ME series young or old.

24, and the ending was dissapointing and felt like a betrayal
Based on the kind of stuff I watched as a child and found acceptable, I don't think I would have asked my younger self to critique the ending accurately.
I think with age you are exposed to more content, and learn more about what is acceptable in storytelling.
I am most dissappointed in the people at BioWare, most developers are within my generation. I thought they would have seen this ending as unnaceptable, and a lazy attempt at writing something the fans could enjoy.
Doesn't matter if the ending is bittersweet, we just wanted one we could see as acceptable and logical. And the older you get, the more you seem to want this.

21, gamer for basically all of those years. Worst ending yet.
The only thing that comes to mind as comparable is Battlefield Earth the movie. Yes, it's that bad; It's everything bad about Battlefield Earth squeezed into a 5 minute sequence.

36 and I think Lucas would be proud. BioWare is managing to kill its flagship franchise faster than Lucas is killing Star Wars.

I mean come on is it just me or can Bioware not see this thread and realize that THEY GOT IT WRONG! I find it freaking insulting how ANYBODY could call us the minority! It would take a blind person to look at this thread and not realize what a steamy piece of crap Bioware has delivered!
