Actually nobody in the Dalish storyline is at all likeable, aside from the above, the Lady of the Forest is bland and unsympathetic, who's only real role in all of this is "hur hur hot tree lady", Lanaya is redundant and boring, Cammen/Gheyna are a pair of wet noodles I wish I could stab with my 1-hit KO dagger, etc.
Don't even get me started on the "poet-tree".
Honestly if it were up to me I'd set the whole forest on fire and be done with it.

Hehe, I had very similar feelings. Even Codex entries I got in Dalish camp were quite boring, and their religion was something I had seen many times before. The only exemption: I liked poet-tree very much.

I loved the poet tree, and Lanaya's nice in a bland kinda way if hardly thrilling. And the guy who wanted you to find his wife is very dignified and sad.

As for the two stupid kids, well, they're teenagers. I liked the game giving me the option to knock some sense into their heads, even if it made me feel old. I hardly replay the game just for the thrill of that encounter, no.

I do kinda like the Dalish though because the Dalish Elf origin felt good to me, so, biased.

I really liked the dalish mage that joins you in the origin, though mostly just cause her voice acting was cool.

And I quite liked the lady of the forest. I thought she was neato

I like Zathrian, but not enough to justify his quest for eternal revenge. I'm okay siding with the elves, but I guess it's kinda 'evil' to let him get away with his scheme. Killing the weres will benefit him the most, in the end. I also didn't like Swiftrunner. First run I had to think looooooong before making a decision. It was kinda sad though to take away the Dalish their keeper (although I think Lanaya will make an excellent replacement Keeper). I'm sometimes still ambiguous about this quest.

Siding with the werewolves was one of the best moments in the game.

Being able to kill Zathrien, that cow who yelled at you for stealing and Cammen? Who in their right mind would pass up that?

I played the dalish quest 3 times now. First time I kills Zathrian and made Lanaya keeper, second time I destroyed the elves. Now I'm going to kill Witherfang. If you talk to Lanaya you start liking Zathrian. He is someone who would give up everything in order so save his people. Also, if you ask nicely, he will reward you with Griffons Beak, when you kill Witherfang.

"Wipe them out. All of them!" That is how I felt for the elves after learning what Zathrian. In my second playthrough AS DALISH I killed them all..

If one decides to kill all the werewolves, btw, they get Zathrian in the Final Battle.

While I can understand the depth of his loss, I liked to politely dislike him on my two playthroughs.

None of the dalish elves was likeable. They feel very meeeh, compared to the Dwarves.

And I hate Zathrian for simply allowing Cammen to live in his tribe.
