Smg for me too. Havent used it yet but opinions on here seem to vary from best kept secret to the worst gun in the game.

No. No I did not I got the Valiant when I almost never use snipers or play Infiltrators. I wanted the Crusader.

Got N7 Eagle. Haven't tried it in MP yet.

The only gun I didn't want to get was Hurricane. Damping that huge recoil with 5% sensitivity at 2,000 DPI would be impossible.

I got N7 Eagle not even wishing for it, but I was awesome long before that anyway.

I got it and I'm loving it on my Drell adept, it rips apart shields and can take down an atlas pretty fast as well.

I wasn't hoping for anything in particular, it's just nice to be awarded for participating.
I got the Valient, it annoyed me at first since I have the black widow V.
It's an ok sniper... it only one shots everything except brutes, banshees, primes and atlas... nothing to special *Holding back the "dsfadjfhasufjadsfjadsfjkafadsfkj VALIENT TO THE RESCUE!!!!"*
Also the victory pack was ****, I got an smg clip upgrade (Who uses smgs?) and a rifle stability upgrade.

I wish there was a trade because everyone whining about getting an SMG, while i wanted it the most and got pistol =(

Yes.

The sniper is the only N7 weapon worth a hoot in MP.

Would have preferred pistol/smg because I play adepts more, but I got the Valiant. Used it with my turian sentinel. Ohboi, too fun.

Phalanx/carni is better for casters and the SMG is just bad all around. Phalanx is an uncommon so you can upgrade it with just vet packs. Mines upto lvl9 now and it kicks ass.

One shot to the head drops all but the Atlas, Banshee, Brute and Prime on bronze and silver.
You can also fire 3 times quickly with little recoil, so it's a killfeed stealer for those with a steady hand.

Definitely one of the better rifles.

I did. The Eagle was the only N7 weapon in the CE that I liked and I gots it. Strange thing is it seems to have more recoil in the mp then I remember in the campaign though but I haven't played the campaign in at least a week if not longer. Annoying when going for mailslots with Cerebus. I'd like to know if I'll be able to get upgrades to show up for it now that I've unlocked it because I'd imagine it's beast @ 10.

I don't mind the victory pack being like a veteran pack, considering EVERYONE got a a victory pack regardless if they helped kill brutes or not, including the peeps crying we should boycott the contest. Free stuff is free stuff, take it and say thank you. But, next time I'll probablly not work so hard fighting enemies I hate trying to help unlock a victory pack, lol.

Bright  side? You didn't get the hurricane, lololol. That thing is horrible. I had a few peeps trying it out in the mp and lol'd the whole time listening to them rage about it while attempting to use it, haha.

Got the Valiant, and damn it's good. Almost as much damage as the Mantis per shot, but you get 3 shots and a very fast reload. It's very heavy, however.
