Anyone got detailed info on these? What are the chances, and do they stack?

I don't know the stats but I was thinking a good use for them would be on a rogue or dual wield character with momentum. I guess the chance to proc is per hit so with momentum and dual wield you have more chances to proc = better chance of have the effect happening?

I never noticed any difference when using them to be honest. It's easier to just use dirty fighting. :P

Heh... I occasionally notice a stunned enemy, but I never know if that is just Leliana auto dirty-fighting or her custom dagger. There's also different grades of paralyzing runes which is what I want to know about.

On a DW rogue I have a Paralyze Rune in each sword. It procs fairly often (one Grandmaster and one Master), a minion doesn't last long enough to see it, but I almost always see it go off on a yellow and up mob.

Slow runes as far as I know only affect movement speed, which makes them utterly useless. Paralyze runes have the potential to be very useful but the proc-rate is so low even on the higher level versions that it is essentially worthless as well. I had a master version on my character and it noticed it going off maybe once an hour. That is a stupidly low rate and the only way to improve it would be to stack each characters weapon with 3 grandmaster versions, but you lose so much potential damage that way it's just not worth it. Bottom line is stick with elemental runes for damage and reducing fight duration and hale runes for improving your physical resistance.

I believe when the paralyze rune activates, the animation is similar to the paralyze spell (circles encage the mob).

Equip 2 paralyze runes in the off hand dagger to help with facestabs. I have yet to see the rune activate when backstabbing.

That would be because only the main hand active runes are used when backstabbing ?

I have no detailed stats, however I've played through with Zeveran and Leliana, both have dual daggers with grandmaster paralyze runes in each dagger and between the two of them and the four daggers something gets paralyzed every fight.

used best runes each one for each dagger slow ones were not worth effort paralyze ones yes they proc fairly often as it was said and also i noticed that using 2 stun like example dirty fight then another one from companion or riposte if it stuns the second stun is like mini stun dostn least almost at all stop caster from casting some serious spell so has its uses but the runes paralyze so its different and i would advice giving them a go since i found them usefull But that reminds me i need search the thread about those stuns since its annoying when you waste stun ambility for mini stun

I always had a paralyze rune in my Sword/Shield warrior's hand whenever possible. I note that when fighting longer-lasting enemies, they get stunned - I see this fairly often, but I don't have numbers.
