Why show Shepard surviving at the end, especially inside a rubble with nothing else. After all, this is the end of Shepard's story.

It's Neither here nor there but the beam never actually angles towards Shepard. He always Leans to the left so the theroy it's self has some merit. If Shepard was to survive which he had done before ala Vancouver then it makes sense with how only one of the endings have the Shepard lives scene and the other two don't.

Don't get me wrong; I'm not trying to argue that the theory doesn't necessarily have merit...I think it makes sense to those who want it to make sense.

The main point I'm trying to argue is that, without any confirmation from BioWare, all we're left with is speculation vs speculation and beating this horse to death because there's nothing new to talk about. 

While I don't agree with the indoctrination theory, and while I believe the Final Hours thing ended my hopes for it...who am I to come out and say people are wrong about it? I believe the current evidence for it also supports my theory that they just messed up.

I think it's that brief blue light you see to the right ish of the scene from 7-8 seconds to 10 seconds in the video.

Not 100% sure.

I noticed the kid on the destroy ending leaves like he was a TV turned off, in the control ending he wisps away, and in the hybrid ending he isn't even there watching you he only watches you on the other two.

Uh not trying to be funny, but no one else noticed in the destroy ending they show him getting beamed back down? Look at a video and when the citadel is destroyed keep an eye on the beam it pulses before the explosion and you see the pulse go down towards earth.

My personal theory is this, and like anything else in this discussion, it is pure speculation...so feel free to treat it as such:

FMVs take time to develop. From what I hear, they're pretty labor intensive. It's also mentioned in Final Hours that indoctrination was indeed on the table at some point (at least, the mechanics where Harby takes over Shepard), but they scrapped that idea. What I believe happened was that this FMV was either in the works or part of this original ending, but rather than discard it, they threw it in as an easter egg to "reward" players for picking Destroy with high war assets (which, in my mind, is the "right" thing to do).

To me, that's it. It was simply an easter egg to reward players who picked that ending with those war assets.

Again, I'd challenge anyone to prove me wrong on this, but know that I also can't prove that you're wrong either. It would truly be a pointless debate to have while we pass the time waiting for an official response.

Ok no kidding, my ending didn't have that blueish light in the background.  Odd.

it COULD be, yes.
But, how many other things around this time had a BLUEISH glow?  I can only think of one.
Let's see where this goes.  ^^

I think that particular video has been edited to make the smoke look more "blue".  The other videos I've seen it just looks like dust settling from an explosion.

That's almost certainly YouTube compression messing with things.  I compared it with the actual video file in the folder and there's only smoke there.

It means the game is still on, and they have yet to announce that they're actually working on the rest of what happens to you, pending on what choice you made during that freakish God child thing event (that, in my/your dreams, just got done WARNING ME/YOU ABOUT.) you emrace him.. you're dead, if you choose destroy, you wake back up in London. BioWare is making something for this, because it's still game on.
