Fading red light, hit pause on 6:52 and you can see it on the right side.
reaper is dead. With alive Shep!
And that makes a whole new theory, not indoctrinated one.

more than ever i'm actually convinced Shep is still on the Citadel. I thought that was concrete before, but it looks like metal on further inspection. Just twisted and wreck metal from the explosion. Even if it was concrete, that wouldn't mean it is London. Since there is all sorts of material on the Citadel. It's not just a huge hunk of steel.

I watched that whole video earlier. It's actually a good video. It is edited, though. Not to make his case more convincing or to deceive anyone, just to drive home his point in some places. It explains part of the Indoc theory pretty well. Makes you think.

Just as a warning: people are going to argue against your speculation with their own speculation, and neither of you will be able to prove the other is wrong

I might take this chance to head off for the night since people seem determined to dissect these videos...for what purpose, I honestly don't know because they don't actually prove anything. I guess it's soemthing to help pass the time, though.

I have to agree that the rubble suggests Earth rather than the Citadel, and the color and nature of the light suggests that the beam is still on, although I don't see the beam.

It lends some credence to the Indoctrination / hallucination / dream theory.

Or it could be due to crappy writing (although the general high quality of the writing in other parts of the game makes this less likely)

Alternatively, it could also very well have been a cutscene created and abandoned in an earlier version (based on events that occurred before Shepard goes up into the Citadel when the beam was still active), which they decided to just re-use and ram it into the ill-thought out finale as an 'easter egg' for those who had enough war score.

Will we ever know???

Watch the whole thing before you criticize. It was never meant to deceive anyone.

Actually, from everything I've seen, indoctrination was originally planned as part of the ending, then scrapped as they got down to the wire. This would mean that lots of the evidence of the theorists is accurate, it was just never put into place in the end.

Unless the theorists are right, of course.

And IMO, that looks more like broken concrete, including rebar. I'm not saying I'm sure, I'm just saying that is not what broken metal looks like, and it IS suspiciously like concrete.

There is only smoke and darkness.  It suggests nothing.

I don't think it was meant to decieve people. He probably just added it to make it sound more dramatic.

The whispering is definitely an effect added by the maker of the video.  The blue light may come from several things, either compression or doctored.  But there IS something black and shiny behind Shepard, but there's not much to go on.

I don't think it's meant as deliberate deception, they used all sorts of voice-overs and sound effects in the video just for emphasis.
