Also, I loved "Firefly" and it was cancelled before ever knowing how it ended.... Think I will sue them.
I ordered the "Best Cheeseburger on the Planet" at Big Boy.... said so right on the menu... It was good, but I have had better... that is false advertisement... I am gonna sue them.
Please.... do some people honestly have no filter anymore on what is an appropriate response and what isn't?

Did you really just fail that hard to grasp the meaning of the post? Look up the word context and realize how stupid calling that "Threats of violence" is.

Bioware did what they said they would do, they made a game with different endings and which had moral and ethical choices for you to make. Could they have had a better ending? Well sure. That's true of every situation though (just ask your girlfriend next time you have sex (rimshot). Inviting the Government in, or trying to sue, does nothing good. Who knows, if Bioware/EA start having to pay X amount of dollars to handle these complaints guess what will happen? They'll stop making games with such morally difficult decisions. Instead of deciding which race should live, your choices may boil down to, "Should I take the right fork or the left fork". We may go back to games with all the depth and heart wringing drama as 'Pools of Radiance' or 'Eye of the Beholder'.
Something else the lawsuit crowd keeps missing.. companies pass costs on to the customer. Get sued? The customer ends up paying more. You're just cutting off your nose to spite your face because you're upset you didn't et your way. Instead of throwing a tantrum, just go write a fanfic about how it should have ended.

I could use a good laugh.
Oh, and... "Mindless drones bashing a good idea"? No, actually, I've tried to be sensible here and explain why this is a terrible idea.
But hey, that's just me.

-I didnt find the choises to be morally difficult. I found them all to be equally nonsensical and morally wrong. All the endings really amount to mass genocide either de jure or de facto. So it was really more of flipping a coin or choosing a colour. And the endings are imposed upon me not by game mechanics but by an outside force thrust into the story in the most lazy way. We could have gone from the tribuneral to the end in one go and it would have made zero difference.
Morally difficult would be the choise made in "the pitt". (the FO3 DLC).
The "endings" we got were not difficult. They were plain lazy.

Honestly, that's what I call a cool story bro. Such a riveting tale, I honestly copy and pasted it to word, saved on my hard drive, backed it up on a jump drive, drove to the bank, put the jump drive in the safe deposit box, and will leave it there until my kids turn about 12 (when they can actually state their age, and ask what it is I'm showing them), then I will pick it up, put it in an old USB drive reader and relay this cool story to them and tell them, "kids, this is what a cool story should look and sound like...not like the stories your generation tells.

If official interviews aren;t advertising idk what is. If i publicly tell people that "person x" is a liar, thief, murderer, Was i not lying? Should i not be sued for slander?
If bioware employees have official interviews or even interviews in general, and say thing about their game thats coming out, which turn out to not be true>? Are they not lying aka false advertising?
The real key here is this, you would need enough people on board with this to really take it to court. (fat chance of that) Then you'd need to really be in this for the long haul, and i mean the long haul. Mega corps are experts at dragging this kind of thing out forever. Im talking years maybe a decade sometimes. You'd have a mountain of work ahead of you(as well probably need a heft amount of coin.) And ontop of that probably damage consumer relations with bioware. And lets face it, at least they interact with us a little bit, most companys wouldnt even give us close to much as we have gotten.
My advice to you is to take it as a lesson learned and refuse to purchase any of their products. Also id recommend telling everyone you know not to buy their products. Lack of DLC saales and an overall bad rep will do far more to put them in their place.
Since EA has taken over Bioware has either forgotten or been pushed into a corner where they no longer realize that its the fans who built this company and at the end of the day it will be the fans that tear it back down.
In the past bioware was such a quality company that many of us chose to spread word of their great games to our friends and get other people to buy their products, increasing their fan base and customer base 100 fold. Those of us still left here are what id imagine the ones who arent completely gone(those customers lost wouldnt even be on this forum) who still have hope they can turn things around.
On the other hand thing will prolly get worse with EA at the helm.
PS. its 7 am and ive been up all night. have no idea what or where i was going with all this....

That's your opinion, and you're welcome to it. Mine is the opposite. Since this is the no spoilers forum I won't get into why I believe you're wrong. However, plain lazy? Ok, YOU write the story then. For every decision tree from the last two games that lead to the stories in this one. I'd love to see their working story tree, it must look like Yggdrasil. And certain players are Ratatoskrl gnawing on the roots...<LOL>

EDIT:
Also you might want to reread your Norse mythology. Ratatosk does no gnawing. So try again. Try harder.

Deciding to go to trial or not is up to the OP not us, if the OP feels he has no other choice because EA/Bioware has offered nothing or not nearly enough to settle his complaint about the game/product and in his eyes false advertising, then he is well in his rights to take it up to court. regardless what we might think of his chances of success.
It's easy to call people stupid and retarded, it ain't easy to take a company like Bioware to court, we might not agree with the OP, but at least he has to nerve and bravery to try something, even if it might all be going down the drain

It's disturbing to see that so many companies get away with it, but it's even more disturbing to see that there are so many people who either defend the practice or try to discourage their fellow (wo)man from using their legal rights to try and change it. As impressive as the Hold the Line movement may be, it should never become a substitute for the word of law.
The sorry state of Mass Effect 3 and the false advertising surrounding it is indicative of a larger, structural problem in the industry; quantity over quality. Shorter development cycles, extensive abuse of the DLC model, disrupting balanced reporting in the media - it's all going down the road to nowhere, and fast.
I believe that any attempt to call the responsible parties to the stand should be able to count on support as widespread as it is for the Hold the Line movement.
