I'm certainly sick of the ones who are abusive in their language and who treat anyone who disagrees with them like a moron. I'm also not a big fan of the more melodramatic members of the "movement." I found that the endings fit with my Shepard's beliefs and worldview, so I wasn't bothered by the issues that others have (although I understand those issues perfectly, tyvm).

I wouldn't say i am sick of the movement everyone has the right to freedom of speech but i am sick of the attitudes of some of their members. Especially those who overreact to everything and make claims with lack of evidence and also some of those who feel that bullying and making threats will get what they want.

By far the worst are those who are abusive and patronising to anyone who does not agree with their views. Calling for their own freedom of speech but denying it to anyone who does not agree. Trolling threads that support the game and abusing anyone who does not agree is wrong.

It reminds me of when the MLP thing really took off and they were spamming every single board on the internet and people got sick of it and they'd just spam and abuse anyone who didn't join in with the spamming.

People need to learn that just because they believe in something doesn't mean everyone else does and they should respect the opinions of others instead of only expecting others to respect them.

I can't look at this thread without the Toto song getting stuck in my head. Thank you, BSN.

Love isn't always on time! Oh oh ohhh. Everytime I play ME1 and I hear someone shout "Hold the line!" in combat I just have to finish it with that. Meaning my throat is raw and bleeding after every encounter.

I'm happy with what I got. And I don't care to be honest. It was the result of Bioware appeasing much of the BSN prior with respect to romancing, and fanservice scenes. All of this had variety which could have been applied to the main story arc and gotten more personalized endings based on past events. People complaining for the sake of complaining gets you nowhere.

Great, now maybe people can STFU about it - at least until the new ending comes out and people think that sucks, too.

Good thing I got rid of my copy of ME3 - I can just skip over all of that BS and save my money for something other than gimmicky DLC.

Ray was pretty vague with his statement, so really, there is no idea if Retake won or Bioware is just trying to placate them a bit.  So I don't see it dying down to much until something more concrete comes out.

Yes. I'm gettign sick of it.

It's just a game. I know it bothers you. Haunts you. You want to desperately change it.Know the feeling very well.

But it's just a game. Starting this campaign is just silly. Can't you vent your frustrations like normal people?

Is this not a forum to talk about such things?

I don't understand is there some unwritten law that says you must talk about your displeasure only 3 times any more and its over kill or something.

To be fair this is the off topic section the last place I want to talk about it but the thing the irks me is all the people tearing down our throats for our opinions calling us names and then condemning us for being childish.

I'm sure those needy kids are going to turn down something because of the reasoning behind it.
This isn't "change the endings or they don't get the money" deal no one put any stipulation behind it.  DAMN this is the most pathetic excuse to make us look bad its not even funny.  Suddenly charity has no baring simply for how it comes to be.  Needy people are needy people period should these kids turn down the money simply because the motives isn't 100% pure?

Thats a nice pipe dream but the world doesn't revolve around pure motives.  It revolves around money and greed.
And its sad that a charity isn't good enough simply because of where it came from.

i find stealing from people who need something wrong and not afraid to wish harm on that person either

We're in 100% agreement on that.  But that isn't what you originally said.  Its one thing to demand that people who donate to charity be completely pure in their reasons its another to suspect stealing in the guise of charity.
Why do you think I avoid those jars at the grocery store?  There is no proof any of that is actually going where they say their going.
I dont know.  I haven't donated anything myself mostly cause money is too tight as it is but I'm not going to assume what you are.

Some are okay, but the people who attack people who disagree with them do not set a good example in the slightest, and I've seen alot of it happening lately.

I also believe they need to organise better, seeing ending threads in the builds forum and the no spoilers forum shouldn't happen, I wouldn't be suprised if they pop up in the multiplayer forum too.

I support what some of them are doing, but there's a few who take it way to far.

same. on the money part

if people really want to get a real thing going i have an idea that i picthed before the game released

we should ask the devs to make a breast cancer awareness dlc armor for both shepards

the money from that dlc go's to the cancer society

i say this because my mom has cancer. she was diagnosed 4 years ago and luckly still here

in fact she has improved alot

i who am a smoker (i dont smoke in the house ) am for such a thing to be done

There is a difference between talking abotu your displeasue and outright attemptign to bully the developer to change what you dont' like. The reasons for you not liking it at this point are UTTERLY IRRELEVANT.
Maybe your reasons are logical and perfect. Or maybe they aren't and all this is just a knee-jerk reaction.

The second people moved beyond just discussing it, they crossed the line. It is irnoic that *I* of all people have to be telling you people this (and you've seen me tear ME2 and ME3 apart).

You are missing the point.  Entirely.

Yes, the reasoning behind suck. Doesn't mean the kids shouldn't get the money.

See now this would be the sensible thing to do instead of demanding change for anything you don't like. I didn't like the kettle i bought the other day. I took it back and got a different one. Problem solved. I didn't make an internet campaign demanding that the company make their kettles to my specifications.

Isn't "bullying the developer" the same sort of hyperbole that the retake movement is accused of?  Whether or not one considers they've taken it too far, I think it's important to remember that these people aren't (just) petulant fans but paying customers and as such they are actually entitled to give feedback about elements that they're unhappy with.  It is of course up to the developer whether or not they wish to act on that feedback, though personally I think it's not a good idea to ignore it or otherwise make it go away: ultimately people will vote with their wallets which will have a far greater impact than any "bullying".

But you should have. See? If you buy it it'sYOUR kettle. Obviously you have to have a big say in how they make kettles.
