Second time through on insanity I chose to destroy synthetic life, and I loved that ending. Just wanted to say I think you guys did a great job.
Disgusting.
I have seen you be an ass in at least three threads in the last 10 minutes, I am on your side and I don't even want you on our side. If he liked he, that's fine. If you want to know why, ask him. If you want to act like a petulant 12 year old, I heard League of Legends could use more players.

Actually I tried making my squad move around and noticed this, I assumed it would just be a mess up in the coding that would go away in a future patch.mohdhm wrote...

sorry i can't respect the opinion of people that have no critical thinking.
How can you like an ending where your squadmates, that were charging into the glowing blue beam... end up on the normandy which ends up abandoning the final battle and conviently crash lands into a habitable planet. it is a huge plothole that even the dumbest person couldn't miss.

The Mass Effect saga isn't about one guy, it's about the galaxy. Please keep your sarcasm out of my post. All I want is to let Bioware know that not everybody hates the ending.
And we have no idea what happens to that galaxy after the majority of the galaxy is doomed due to relying on the relays for food and supplies from other places.
What happens between geth and quarian? Do the krogan recover? What happens to the turian and quarian fleets stuck on earth, are they all doomed to die of starvation as well since there isn't a dextro amino acid planet in the sol system and they have no way to make food except what their ships themselves can support? Do the non turian/quarians get along well on the scarred out husk of earth?

then send an email. If you didnt want people to come in here and express their own oppinions (even though you should have figured that the general community here is against you), why in the name of Shepard did you post in a FORUM.
And I'm not even gonna get into how your statement of how "The Mass Effect saga isn't about one guy, it's about the galaxy" is detrimental to your overall stance.
And those who are "against him" need to show some more respect for someone who gained more enjoyment than yourself.
Don't worry OP some of here liked it too.

There are plenty of arguments for why people like the ending. But your head is obviously too far up your ass to go and do some research into why people feel that way. And if you want to talk about "wasting digital forum space" why is the front page of the spoiler section full posts with the token "I hate ME3 's ending!! Fix it Bioware." header that all say the exact same thing?Michale_Jackson wrote...
anyone who like's ME3 ending is trolling. Otherwise they would make an argument in their post on why ME3 ending is better than ME2, ME1 or any other game.DarthTrey wrote...
It's funny, people who hate the ending expect everyone else to respect their opinions, but they're always the first people to troll on those who like the ending.ediskrad327 wrote...
i loved the part where there was closure and made sense!.......oh wait
But if all you're going to say is that I like the ending thanks Bioware, then expect a digital hand to come out of your monitor and slap you in the face for wasting the digital forum space.
There's your digital hand

Troll or not .. whatever, he has a right to his opinion without having to defend it to anyone just like I am sick and tired of defending my position in hating the ending. There's more than enough threads to talk about how we hate the game. For crap sake, leave these guys alone.

it's the same ending, except red instead of blue and the reapers fall over instead of fly up.
Though you would have been only 5 years old the first time many of us saw this same ending in a game called DeusEx, had the exact same control AI/destroy AI/merge with AI options in Red/Blue/Green as well, and they made sense within the context of that game.

They can do what ever they wan't because bioware isn't going to change anything anyway so what happens doesn't matter to me.

To be fair though, your decisions didn't have any impact on how the first two games ended either. Mass Effect is still a linear story, no matter how you go about it, every player still has to get the same ending. This isn't necessarily a good or a bad thing, but I think the vision the players and Bioware initially had player choice in regards how the series was going to end turned out to be way out of the developers reach.
That's true. However, while the choices in the game does not affect your gameplay or story in a direct sense, it does implay differrent outcomes that is consistent with the universe as a whole.
For example, if you killed Mordin in ME2, he is replaced by a different Salarian. You still have to do the same missions as if Mordin was there but facing a different character. On the other hand, Mordin dying implies that he is dead (obviously), and that the universe just lost a great scientist.
It may not affect the game in any way, but it does affect your imagination and shape the universe in your mind.
Now the ending is such a tragedy because it implies exactly the same thing, that everyone is basically f***ed.
If Bioware had put in some kind of epilogue like in DA:O, I'm pretty sure the ending wouldn't have garnered as much hate as it does now.
