The entire game is closure. The ending simply focuses solely on Shepard. It is his story, after all.

Disagreed the whole game is about how Shep fights to get an army to save Earth not *her* closure.

I have to ask you said you like the destroy compared to the synthises which is great for you but can I ask how can you like one and not the other as to me they are basically the same ending. Atleast for me I had edi appear in both.

Right so the resolution of the genophage, or the war for Rannoch, those didn't happen.

What? That's a contradiction.
You see, '101ezylonhxeT's' one specific purpose is why we are all here. The same reason I'm here. To campaign against Bioware to make a new ending because we love the game ('the journey') but the ending is bad.

It's not a contradiction.
Let me recap the conversation for you.

The journey meant nothing anyway.

101ezylonhxeT said that the "destination made MY journey POINTLESS AND A WASTE OF MY TIME."
I understand that people that are apart of the Retake movement care about the journey and want to fix the ending to better reflect the trials and tribulations they went through during said journey. My reply was specifically to 101ezylonhxe because that specific person stated that they felt they had wasted their time and didn't care about the journey. I questioned that if it had wasted their time, why did they continue to comment on it. At no point in this conversation did I turn this on anyone other than the person I was quoting.

The ending made everything i did from ME1 to 3 absolutely pointless thus playing ME3 was a waste of my time.

And that is closure how? Maybe for the species but not for Shep. You forget that the main reason Shep does these is to get an army.

And then you bring Shep's story full circle with the final choice of sacrifice vs. survival after getting to basically say goodbye to all your friends one by one.  So what's the issue?

Disagreed the plot of the game is to get an army to save Earth, but the narrative is about closure for Shepard. (I.e Garrus and Shep's scene on the Citadel, Liara and Shep with the memory bank, curing the genophage, all the dialogue stuff you can do on Earth before the final battle, etc).  Just like in Mass Effect 2 the plot was about stopping the Collectors while the narrative was mostly focused on the squad members.

You can't be serious. Nothing my Shep did change anything, not that there is this Joker suddenly at the relays my companions are with him too and they were supossed to be at my side. Also in the end whatever color you chose dooms the galaxy and nothing. No actual closure no effect of who I gathered nothing but a starchild who gives me three color choices.

Yes, I acknowledge that. My reply, just like it was earlier, is if it was such a huge waste of your time and you feel like it was pointless, why are you still on the forums complaining about the ending? Obviously it meant something to you or you wouldn't be here. To which you'll reply something about it being pointless.
Regardless, this post was in reply to FyreSyder feelings that I was replying to everyone who dislike the ending. At which point, I replied with a pretty bad typo that messed up what I was trying to say. I have since fixed both posts.

Your Shep didnt' change anything?  Did you skip over the Krogan and Quarian portions of the game?  Or pretty much everything else?

Yes and how did that change my ending? Also even if I made peace between Geth and Quarians I cannot disagree with the starchild.

Look maybe you liked the ending and it fit your Shepard, but keep in mind everyones Shepard is different and that some of us didn't get the closure, ending or renegade interrupt on the starchild we wanted.

The Mass Effect saga isn't about one guy, it's about the galaxy. Please keep your sarcasm out of my post. All I want is to let Bioware know that not everybody hates the ending.

The probem with you people is that you are indeed the 'loud' minority. What you say there is exactly why I hate threads/posts like this. The sole reason you write that you love the ending is to support Bioware, not to give a criticism or whatever. Sorry, but this is why Drones are bad. Drones like the ending, ok, we got it.

I hate to break it to you champ, but the "loud miniority" are the "Change ME3's ending" people. Out of 2 million copies sold, there are about 50,000 people are apart of the retake movement. I'll let you do the math :)

I didn't mind the ending. I also did not want any midichlorian explanations about it. The whole game was great, the whole series was excellent.

Let the new dawn begin.

those who enjoyed the ending are the minority. Usually in a diplomatic society, those with the most votes wins.

I love the game. I am currently on my 4th playthrough. However the ending does not make sense. Everything was moving on just fine until they introduced the reaper kid! I know I was like HELL NO these are my choices this is got to be some joke right!.

So I hope that BioWare takes the FANS not some Tribunal press opinion but the FANS and take it to heart and make amends!

You are wrong, just because there's a larger representation of those that hate the ending on BSN, doesn't mean that they're the majority. I've already pulled the numbers for you.
