"Hudson, however, noting feedback from players that the ending was too bleak, said BioWare was working on new content that will be made available to download online to extend play beyond the current finish of the game."

Hey not to totally kill your logic here, but how can you be boycotting them when you're using their forums??
boycotting their products is not the same as boycotting their forums.

I think its a great idea.
There's a long line of successful boycotts, like L4D2 and MW2 to draw inspiration from.
Herd the line!
lol at the L4D2 boycott. That was the biggest joke on the planet. Everyone called for the boycott but as soon as the demo dropped, everyone got onboard and forgot why they were mad at Valve in the first place.

Im not going to boycott them, I just wont buy any new or me related stuff, of course until they fix the endings.
They won't fix the endings because you will still buy their products. And they have no reason not to repeat this mistake in future products....you know why? Because people like you continue to buy their products.
Wow, how very ignorant to say what a stranger will do when you know nothing about them.

sorry i understand petitions but boycotts can go either way = EA can give in and make whatever u desire or remake the company and give it a new name and produce COD like games....i dnt want another company like that
I don't desire anything but justice. I didn't say I want them to fix the ending, I want them to respond to our backlash in an honest way.
do you even understand what justice is or are you just making things up as you go?
how is destroying a billion dollar company justice? you do realize if bioware go's down youll never get what you been protesting so hard for right?
i cant believe half of the thread si see posted on here because it seems like alot of people throw big words around they dont know the definition of
You do realize could shut down the brand name and keep the people right? It's all just smoke and mirrors. All EA has to do is create a new studio called Synthetosquare and put the people back in. Then it just looks like BioWare died when really it died a long time ago.

Real life boycotts do. You go enjoy Bioware while they still last. EA will end Bioware as Bioware ended Mass Effect. Only a matter of time.

Bioware will rise on a platform bathed in light, and talk to the EA god themselves before being given three choices. All three choices will end in the destruction of bioware

Oh no sir. EA will continue with Mass Effect. It will be their solution to the Halo problem like Battlefield is to Call of Duty.
Enjoy Mass Effect: Ghost Squadron IV.

Its not about taking a company down, its about making a statement to all the suits at EA who are running the show. Its about getting your voices out there, letting them know that they went too far this time.

I don't see a problem with that just as you dont see a problem with Bioware ruining the game for all the gamers that enjoyed it. You see no problem with them ruining their own game, but you see a problem with me doing something about it.
The ending ruined the story of the trilogy and the only reason most people play ME1,2,3 is for the story. So there ya go, Bioware just ruined it.

I will stop supporting Bioware if they release ending related content. I didn't pay for an incomplete product.
So if they finish/flesh out something...you'll stop supporting them because it was an incomplete product...but if they don't, then it's complete?
How about a consumer who feels they were sold something different than what was advertised instead?I can accept what they wanted to do and not rail about it like a pissy child.
I find it incredibly amusing that had the OP's sentiments and point been expressed with any word/phrase than "boycott" people wouldn't be freaking out right now, because we've got tons of other posts/threads saying the exact same things just without using the word "boycott".

And Ea will laugh, shrug and continue to do what they do because for every "loyal" consumer out there, there are 100 idiots who will buy a Madden game because the cover is shiney and it has football idiot words like Hitstick and Interacta-play that will get them moist in the pants and buy the damn preordered collector's disc.
EA does not care. Nothing you can do short of getting the entire human populous on your side will make them change.

Like I said, BioWare is EA. They can just think up of a new studio name and boom BioWare is dead. BioWare died when they sold themselves to EA. It's just a name nothing else.

Might change in the future if they up the quality of fucture products and stops misleading hype, or fixes ME4 - but .... right now - I'm doing paying.

I don't know if bioware is to blame to be honest...I would be quicker to blame EA, whose greedy asses likely forced bioware to rush ME3 on to the market in time for the best time of the year for profit.
Considering what we know - Bioware did a 'lots of speculation' switch late in the process.
It might be quicker to blame EA, but we have no indication at all that it's an EA thing. But we have plenty it's a people at Bioware thing.
