90% of the time I purchase any pack from the store using credits, I get this error message. The only workaround I've found was exiting out of the entire game then relaunching it, and hope to find a "NEW" tag on one of the item categories. I have to do this every single time I purchase a pack, and it's becoming a pain in the ass. Sometimes I won't beable to tell what I got at all.

So basiclly I hardly EVER get to see the screen where the pack unlocks and I get to see it's contents. And this really has been frustrating, and it takes away the fun when opening up a new pack...

When I played the demo this only happened to me once. Now I have the full game and it happens 90% of the time.

If someone could help I'd be most grateful. Thanks!

I found this often happened (for some reason) if I alt-tabbed out of the game while the store was loading. Since I stopped doing that, the rate at which it happens has dropped drastically.

If it happens once, I quit and reload the game, and it doesn't happen again.

It also happens to me a lot, for some reason mostly on Veteran packs.

YEAH!!! a spectre pack!!! it is just sitting there..can see it clear as day in the memory!! i made the mistake of using my MSP...had points sitting there for over a year...so i use it...and i got bit!

They really need to play with some of their store's code, because this should never be an issue at all in an online store that accepts real money.

At least I've never spent real money. I've lost 3 spectre packs to this.

Well, if there's ever an error with purchasing, it either:

a) refunds you the purchase, because it never happened
B) re-syncs, and you get the pack regardless.

It's not really an issue in the sense of there being risk for purchases being lost - they just take more time than it needs, and are just inconvenient.

I sure hope so. Ive had this error and lost my money and never got to look through the pack contents. I do hope that I got the items anyways.

I've personally never gotten this error and not gotten money/items from it, although I can't say that it isn't at all possible.

I get this error on my ps3 fairly often, usually buying multiple Vet packs after a successful Gold game. It will say it failed to purchase, and show me as having the same credits. However, if I restart the game my 20k credits are missing and I can usually find the new mod/gun/class I unlocked (although that gets harder as you unlock more guns/mods).

maybe it has something to do with a corrupt coalesced.bin, or OnlineProfile.profile

is it safe to delete them? and possibly have the game generate a fresh new one?

Yea, I just got the same error this morning. Was trying to get the Pre Vet Pack (Special) had lost 120bp trying to buy it. Also when I redeem the Free N7 Pack from Weekend Chanllege I didnt even get the items.

I have had this issue a staggering amount of times. My multiplayer basically becomes untouchable (cannot join or create matches, and leaderboards fail to show up) after it fails to purchase, then I have to restart my game. When I log back in the credits are missing, but the purchase went through every single time. It is just annoying to search every weapon and mod to find out in the end they just gave you a class.

Naw it's a server side issue.

Restart the game before buying.
That way your much less likely to get any errors.

Still happen about half the time this way. It's around 90% of the time when I buy without restarting the game.
it's boring, the pack is purchased, but there is no way you can see what you earn.

It happens to me too. I buy the pack, gives me the error, refunds me the money and then after a bit or after i restart the game the refunded money is gone and what came in the pack is already added to my equipment and inventory but i dont know what i got.

Just had this happen to me for the first time.  I had a nice long convo with the EA tech support guy that was more than a little disappointing.  I admit, I'm kind of a dick sometimes to CSRs - I'm just really tired of contacting them over problems w/ MP.

You are now ready to chat with [redacted].
CSR: Thanks for contacting EA Help! My name is [redacted] how may I help you?
you: Hi [redacted].
you: I've tried purchasing a spectre pack about five times now and each time get an error that says:  One or more of your purchases failed to process. If this error continues to appear, please contact customer support.
you: I just tested it again and it's still happening.
you: Also, when are we going to get the packs from the first weekend and the missing packs from previous cases?
CSR: You have a valid reason to be disappointed. I'll do my best to address your concern.
you: I've submitted cases a couple (or more) times before about the previous pack purchases.
CSR: [redacted], I apologize for the disappointment caused.
you: First one was the very first (or maybe second, I forget which now) weekend event and everyone was supposed to get packs. I don't think anyone ever got one for that.
CSR: However our expert team is working on the issue and I am positive that it would be fixed soon.
you: And the other time was one or two different spectre packs that I was trying to buy when the leader left the group and I lost the credits but never got the packs.
you: And now this issue, which I've already given you the error message for.
CSR: It's a temporary issue
CSR: Some of the customers have reported this and our team of experts are working hard to fix it.
you: Is there an ETA on the previous issues? The experts have had over a month to fix that one.
CSR: I am afraid however it would take  7-10 days.
you: So in 7-10 days I should get the original two missing packs that I purchased and the missing reward pack?
CSR: Yes, I am positive that it would be fixed.
you: Okay, I'll definitely be looking for them then.
CSR: I appreciate your patience and cooperation.
CSR: Is there anything else you would like to know?
you: Okay, so I exited out of the game completely and got back into it... and I'm missing 60k credits and don't have anything new from the store.
CSR: Please don't worry
CSR: It could be a temporary issue and I am positive that it'll be there after couple of hours
you: I really hope so. This is very frustrating.
you: And if it was 60k credits that I'd purchased with actual money, I'd be very angry.
you: Anyway, thank you for your time. I'll be looking for the packs in 7-10 days.
