We've all been there...doing something which at the time seems like a good idea but you quickly learn just how bad an idea it was all along, so bad in fact that it actually turns out to be detrimental to us.

Take me, for example, just because you have money doesn't mean you need to spend it. Or worse don't spend money you don't have...

So, what are some of the lessons YOU have had to learn the hard way? =]

Don't actually be as honest as possible when someone asks you for your honest opinion.

Take the statement to read:
"Lie to us about how good we are"

Not taking good care of your health. I spend a good $8,000 on dental bills fixing my teeth. That's a path you don't want to go.

Sulking in your sorrows leads to, surprise, more sorrow. Not going into detail on that one.

Size Matters. Zing!....kidding.

Never admit being wrong on the interwebs. Never trust another guy in personal matters. Never drink with an empty stomach. Never invest too much into a friendship, that is not mutually beneficial.

Never trust a hot chick. never reveal your True Name to anyone, at all while on the interwebz. If a girl asks if she looks hot, always say yes and always agree with them. don't pose stupid questions to your girlfriend while on a date. AND, don't trust a hot girl with duct tape.

Don't stay up all night studying for a test, it's just not worth being tired the next day.

Procrastination is bad. Keep relearning this every semester. And it never sticks....

Also, people can be jerks.

Being surrounding with people that have the same worldview as you can be really, really boring.

Keep your problems to yourself - and tell others to do the same.

Also, a friend to all is a friend to none.
