 Ok I started playing this game this weekend. I went down the route of a Human Warrior, must admit I am enjoying the game a lot and the warrior is cool, does a lot of damage and seems to absorb a lot which is cool, although he is a DPS build (2h axe/sword)

My problem is I am missing a million and one chests through not having a rogue in my party. Am I missing out on much of these chests or is it just crap loot?

Should I start again and go a rogue/assassin w/e?

Most chests have an elf root or some other trash in them. You really aren't missing out on anything.

Stay with your Warrior for a while. Maybe you should just think about adding Leliana to your Party from time to time or simply make a rerun with her after you cleansed the area.

It is not really necessary to have a Rogue but having one can give you the benefits.


Edit: You won't miss the stuff that you don't get because you don't know what it is and if you would have it you would get a problem with free space (unless you use the Storage Chest mod).
