Personally I was fine with the first ending I got, dissapointed and hollow inside sure, but ME3 had left me with lots of good memories, and that was I spent time remembering. But after trying out the other choices (and seeing the exact same cinematics repeated at me with colour changes) I was pissed. Then I started wondering about the stranded Victory fleet and how your crew apparantly abandoned Shepherd... and here I am now.
Looking at the Facebook page for Support BioWare's ME and I'm seeing a lot of 'I didn't understand the ending at first, but then I played it again and I think it's wonderfully philosophical etc and makes you think'.
I still don't understand, how do they explain the plot holes? Do they just not notice them? Do they just not really care about what happens to everyone Shepherd had been with, and effectively doomed?
I am genuinely bewildered. I can understand if they say demanding change is a step too far (which it really isn't, considering the brilliance of the indocrination theory and the potential for Bioware/EA to turn this completely around), but loving it? What is their reasoning?
Edit: Rephrasing my original question for more clarity.
Considering the sheer amount of absurdity and plot-holes presented in the final scenes, what exactly do people still find likable about the ending?
