Hey all. I'm on my second playthrough of the game, this time as a mage.

I want to get the Blood Mage spec, and have done everything I needed to do (agreed to let Isolde sacrifice herself whilst I go into the Fade). I then told them to wait whilst I grabbed the rest of the items in the area, but when I came back Isolde has disappeared and Jowan just tells me to hurry up and make up my mind.

Am I missing something entirely here, or is there some way to force Isolde to spawn (debug script or something) so that I can go get my Blood Mage? I can't go to the Circle because I wiped them all out.

Lastly, my codex reflects my account here. It says that I opted to enter the Fade and that Isolde will sacrifice herself... but I can't start the ritual because she's nowhere to be found.

I really enjoyed my first playthrough and was highly enjoying my second but this is really pissing me off.

BUMP! Still can't get into the Fade... anyone know if there is a debug script which can help me?

i sugest doing to the the last game save before the one your on and get stuff before you talk to them

Thats why i save offten. im actrually playing 6 different games at the same time.i just make muliple saves before i talk to one of the plot npc's then branch off into the different story lines.so hope it helps

I wish that were possible I've just been working off autosave, and my only other save was from my first character right at the end of the game. I really dont wanna have to start another character...

Hi. I have the same problem. But its even worse!

Not only, that Isolde is gone for no reason (The NPC is just not there after the dialogue ends), no:
Im a Mage and i wanted to be bloodmage. Now: there is no way to get it without Isolde....
May be bad luck. but the worst part follows:
If I trie to kill the Demon in the real world (what choice do I have without Isolde....) the game just loads for ever.
I tried it 3 times. 2 Times the game froze at the loading screen (or the "loading-text! in the bottm right corner) after the battle and once during the battle.

Conclusion: I CANT FINISH THE BLOODY GAME!
I played for 9 hours (only because i went to Redcliff first. It would be even worse if I made this my last part) for nothing.
I dont have a save, because I treid to find Isolde. I never thought of a bug and so I only have saves after she deisappeared. (thanks to Auto Save....)

Today I lost my believe in this game.  The first time I tried to play it I was stuck, because all my caracters sucked. I had only 4 (plus the dog, but it didnt count) because of the really bad system where you have no idea, who is a playable caracter and who not. So I got my ass kicked by some dragons and had no chance at all. 1st Fail.

Now more than 1 year after this I got to stop playing the game again, because of a Bug....
I begin to think that every game with a "EA" Logo on it is ****. Nearly 70% Of all Games from EA i own are pissing me of.

Thx for reading. I just wanted to write my agressions down and share them. If anyone asks me for Dragon age Origins i just can advise to stay away from it. The Strory is good, the game play is nice. The NPC AI programming is ok and has some small errors, but through the Bugs its just ruined.
