I am a science fiction literature graduate, a writer and a scholar. Mass Effect's setting, characters and universe inspired me into this career. I wouldn't be a certified sci fi writer/journalist without Mass Effect, and that's the truth. I have been a fan of the series, maybe more than most. Every time someone ousted the series I was there in it's defense, every time a review site bashed Bioware (even during the DA2 ordeal) I was there to defend the amazing games it developed. After five years, as a fan of this franchise, over $800 of merchandise, and the inspiration it's given me; please don't end it this way. In a tired cliche of the tragic spiral motif that has never been the intention of the franchise. Don't end your trilogy with a weak and pathetic end that reminds me of the tragedy that was the Star Wars prequels. Do what the fans deserve, what MASS EFFECT deserves.

You're breaking my heart Bioware, I don't want to hate you...

(Not pictured are my Cerberus shirt and Garrus shirt, they are both dirty and in the wash.)

I've got the Tali lithograph framed on my wall, and the Collector's Edition Artbook. It sucks looking at it, doesn't it?

This is why I'm not a particular 'fan' of anything, you're left with a clump of sadness when it goes south.

(Used to be kind of a Silent Hill nut, then Team Silent handed the title over and. . . Yeeeeah. )

It's the f*ck*ng crime of the decade ... if there was ever a case for intellectual property theft , this is it. EA/Bioware ripped my fantasy world right the f*ck out of my skull. My soul is lesser place without Mass Effect. George Lucas couldn't even come close to this level of cruelity if I handed him the keys to Pixar.

Join the fleet and fight for hopeless cause, hold the line that drawn on the dust. Or believe in indoctrination theory - empty hope of those who falsely assumes that bioware incapable of creating that amount of plot holes.

That's the mistake most fans make: they believe the love and dedication that they give to the companies who produce the things they enjoy are shared. Sadly, it's all a one-way, unrequited romance. Corporations don't care about fans, they care about their stockholders. If it gets their stockholders more profit, then they consider it a job well done. They care about fans the same way wolves care about deer; sure, they're nice to have around as they keep them well fed, but that's all deer are to them: food. Fans are food to corporate entities like EA and Bioware.

At the End of the Year we will see Mass Effect in:
a) Best Single Player Campaign
B) Most Disappointing Game
Videos :F

i wanted to buy the Normandy Replica but now... the next thing i will "buy" is the DLC with a fixed Ending (or never ever anything from Bioware...)

This hurts you.

Lying like this is uncharacteristic of bioware so hopefully the indoctrination theory is correct and theyre blatantly lying to us for the sake of truly indoctrinating us without making it obvious.. Although the fact that the fate of the collector base didn't affect the story and a few other major choices getting swept under the rug kinda made me think that ME3 had new writers who didn't play the 1st 2 games and/or didn't love them like we fans do

I too invested my heart in this series since ME1 and bought every DLC but that's pretty much it..

If its just the product of bad writing then sorry brother..

Without hope or humanity, trust and support we are nothing more than what you described.

It is better to have trusted and lost everything in the maw of defeat, than to have lived in solitute and detachment.

What an awesome collection!

Me, I was playing in my lucky Joker SR2 Cap, and still it didn't get me any further.
Lets hope BW is listening with their hearts instead of their wallets

Yeah. Even my memories are tainted by this ending. Ten days after finishing ME3. Still heartbroken.

True, but if you trust wolves blindly, and ignore their wolfish nature, then you have no one but yourself to blame when the wolf bites you.

Corporate entities are what they are. One shouldn't be surprised when they pull such shenannigans.
