It repeats because there is a point where some men feel that once they get to a certain level of praise, they can do whatever they want and still get recognition.

I call it "The George Lucas effect" Where you get drunk on financial sucess of a franchise and don't feel the need to have your ideas challenged in any way. It usually ends in disaster. Unfortunatlym we are partially to blame. By buying all the toys, games, and books blindly we encourage this... we are in fact, the enablers...

What could have been the greatest sci-fi story ever told got shot in the back and butchered at the final moment. I just can't find the words to describe how much this hurts me

That's a pretty nice collection you have there. I only have an N7 shirt, wanted to get a hoodie, but I couldn't afford that and a new hunting rifle, so I went with the rifle. Pretty glad I did that now actually.

I know the feeling man. Life really is just to depressing, why must our games be despressing to?

I'm a sociology major damn it all! I spend every day learning how screwed up the world is. I freaking got mass effect 3 on good faith, spent pretty much what was left in my account as well, after a particularly stressful week of paper-writing. It was supposed to be my way to relax, unwind, and get myself ready to power through the last weeks of class. Instead the ending left me depressed an sullen.

That's the mistake most fans make: they believe the love and dedication that they give to the companies who produce the things they enjoy are shared. Sadly, it's all a one-way, unrequited romance. Corporations don't care about fans, they care about their stockholders. If it gets their stockholders more profit, then they consider it a job well done. They care about fans the same way wolves care about deer; sure, they're nice to have around as they keep them well fed, but that's all deer are to them: food. Fans are food to corporate entities like EA and Bioware.

True, but if you trust wolves blindly, and ignore their wolfish nature, then you have no one but yourself to blame when the wolf bites you.

Corporate entities are what they are. One shouldn't be surprised when they pull such shenannigans. 

Up until now Bioware never showed themselves as wolves.
