Doesnt this kinda disprove the whole Indoctrination stuff? If the endings we got werent the real endings but fake, wouldn't they record the real "post-Indoctrination" endings at the same time as the "fake" endings?
And take the risk of that "Indoctrination-ending" being leaked just like the original one? We had this ending because the original one was leaked and they had to "re-write" it with a horrible outcome.
No, looks like they leraned the lesson the harsh way. Of course, this also allows neither to confirm nor denny the fact that the indoctrination theory is just that, a theory. If they've got something planned, they might just not starting to make it happen until they've gathered enough feed back.
Well it's rather important to note that he says:
" I don't actually know anything about their actual plans (and I couldn't say anything if I did),"
Which is both incredibly non-committal, and hints that if they were it would be under wraps.
I'd say it's another nail in the coffin, but it's not dead quite yet. Probably won't be until they confirm what happened one way or another. I'm saying that as skeptical follower of the Indoc Theory, I want it to be real, but I'm pretty sure it isn't. This is just more reason to be skeptical, though it isn't exactly enough to disillusion me entirely.

But what does MARK VANDERLOO think of all this?
I don't think he knows Mass Effect even exist anymore.

"Bioware has said recently that they are considering all fan feedback, positive and negative.
I don't actually know anything about their actual plans (and I couldn't say anything if I did), but I do know that there will be upcoming DLC. Changing or expanding the end of the game wouldn't be unprecedented.
The gaming community saw it a few years ago with Fallout 3 from Bethesda and the Broken Steel DLC.
I really enjoyed Fallout 3, and didn't really have a problem with its ending, but was thrilled to get the Broken Steel disc.
Obviously, if Bioware wants to record more dialogue, I'd be there. I'm definitely scheduled to record more dialogue for DLC, but at this stage, I don't know what that will entail."

This makes me both happy and sad. It makes me happy because Mark Meer has CLEARLY done his homework on this issue. It makes me sad because industry "insider" Mike Pachter didn't. From now on, I'm getting all my investment advice from Mark Meer.

He probably saw the end of the script and asked the writers, "You want me to read, this?"
Where in what he said do you see that?
Where in what I said made you think that I thought that he said something that you think I thought he said?

What I'm really curious about is Mark Meer's reaction to the endings and his feelings about them. As a gamer, (who he is, from what I've gathered so far), not a part of the team responsible for the game.
Haha, personally it'd be evil, but I wouldn't be able to help myself saying I was "underwhelmed but appreciate of the hard work" in his position.
I mean, it's like: "Oh, you want to make new endings to satisfy your fans, and pay me more money to record even more DLC? Why yes, yes I do support that"
But I doubt we'll ever get the "true" reaction from him. Because in the end it could risk his relationship with Bioware. He's one of their go-to voice guys. I'm sure he wouldn't want to risk that.
