How do you kill Flemmeth? She's crazy hard! even with +fire resistence gear on she eats Allistar, me. Lelianna, and Wynne...

Kill her like any other dragon. I actually found her easier than the High Dragon.
Two tanks, an archer and Wynne-with-Cone of Cold is all you need, really. Just try to keep at least one of the tanks alive, or else you're screwed.

You should have Shale or someone with really high constitution in your party instead of Lelianna, you really do not need a Rogue character class for your battle. Basically what Emryc said before me.

Lyrium potions. Lots of them.

Other than fire resistance gear, you should use any warmth balms on anyone in range of her breath. There really isn't a trick to defeating Flemeth. You just pummel her while healing your party members in addition to making them use poultices when needed. Force Field is helpful if she snaps one of them up in her maw. Otherwise have Alistair shield bash her, as it has a chance of dislodging anyone she grabs.

keep archer away from dragon for safe shooting... and almost no healing needed.
use dps at the back of her legs ( watch for the tail)
1 tank.. not straight in front of ur healer ... so he is only one who eats breath attacks.
tank fire/physical resist.
use healer to debuff and heal.
there are a dozen tactics ideas etc. but these are some possible basics to keep in mind.

I did it with the same party (alistair, liliana and wynne) plus me, a mage. With two mages it's easy as pie.

I wish there was a spell like crushing prison, except the opposite to use on dragons like Flemeth. You cast it and it expands within them until they burst like a piñata. mmmm candy...

"me" is an AW
and thanks for all the advise! I need to rethink the tactics I use on boss fights... I always underestimate them.

I go all ranged except for the tank and faced Flemeth away from the rest of the party. Use fire resist armor on the tank as well. That and a potion or two does the trick.

The wardog tanks her very well, he/she seems to get in under some of her worst spells.

Having shale or a mage tank is the best with any dragon your melee will die fast if they try to tank. Her fireballs will not do a lot if you have a mage get aggro just drink pots and heal, it's actually very easy.

I used Shale to tank and it was fine. Yes I also waited till I'm at a higher level before attempting both dragons.
I thought the dragon fights in Dragon Age is much easier compared to Baldur's Gate.

For the dragon kills since my last play through i am completely sold on Shale as the main tank for any dragon. With a normal PC tank of any race the dragon can and will turn you into a chew toy, and unless you are jonny on the spot with the heals that is usually enough to kill any tank. The beauty of Shale is that while the dragon can knock Shale around it can not "chew toy" her. The last play through i used Shale to tank both dragons, even though i was set up to be the main tank, i relinquished my role because the dragons kept chewing me up like a dog with a dish rag. Using both Wynne and Morrigan set to heal Shale with me relying on potions since i had no aggro worked so smooth that it is now become my preffered tactic.

I beat her with a party with max lv 13. Sten was wielding Yusaris (+10 vs dragons) and had over 50 strength. The battle is much more manageable if you have only one tank melee the beast as it's one of those monsters that can attack all your members in melee from all directions. I turned on Sten's indomitable and powerful swings and had Wynne heal him and regen him constantly (you want regen on him when he gets chewed). Leliana and my PC would just fill her with arrows. She fell slowly but surely, after two fails where the chew got me unexpectedly.

Oh and he was wearing the blood dragon armour, that's worth a few points of constitution for him (I pump his strength, only). And I'm in hard mode. I said "fail" but that's just because I never allow anyone to fall in battle, ever, without reloading. You say fire was a problem? I remember the fact that she hardly ever did it once only 1 fighter was in her face, if ever.

Double daggers to the back of the skull worked for me. Seriously though NEVER stay in front of Flemeth....EVER. Continuously go to the side and as far in the back as possible.....if she drags you in the front do nothing except get right back to her back before you do anything else. Oh and keeep on chugging health potions. Setting your mage(s) to use lirium potions when low on mana is also a smart thing to do.

I killed her at level 11, and the High dragon at level 13...just take along two tanks, and a healing mage. Problem solved.
