Just got off EA help line for my commendation pack fix, and was asked to do this:

you:Alright thank you. By the way I have a separate issue

you:It seems that in multiplayer, i am unable to invite anyone into a private lobby, and it simply returns the message "you must enable origin in game..."

 Manish:Yes, please

you:however, my origin is clearly enabled in game (ie shift f1 works)

you:I am also unable to join anyone's invites to a group

Manish:It seems to be an in-game issue or it could be a bug.

you:Have tried reinstalling origin, did not solve the issue

Manish:Please post the issue on our official forums so the developers could take a note of it and resolve the issue.

Hi,

That's not an issue I have seen before.
Can you try and uninstall Origin and then take the latest client from here.

If the problem still persists please follow the below steps:

Can you please drop an email to ME3QALaunchSupport@bioware.com with the below details.
  • Your Origin username
  • Your Client_Log.html file from Origin just after the problem occurs. Usually found at C:\\ProgramData\\Origin\\Logs
  • The version of Windows (XP, 7 etc) you are using
Many Thanks!

Oh yes thank you, it seemed to work. No idea why but i think either origin or the game client was not updating. Please close this thread (or leave it for others), I've seen at least 1 other person with this problem

Yes, it sounds like Origin wasn't updating. This feature is fairly new.

Glad it's resolved!
