I already have Dragon Age Origins installed in my ps3, but i bought the ultimate to play awakening and the dlc's. Now when I try to import my saves, it only shows from the regular one.
My DA2 is region 1 and my Ultimate is region 2. Could this be it? This region locks are getting annoying, i bought it thinking the PS3 didn't have a region lock. And I can't even transfer the saves from my account to another, because DA have locked saves.
Is there any way around this?

Its because they are different regions.  While games aren't region locked save files are.  I have the ultimate edition of DA1 and they imported just fine.  Both mine are region 1.

no that a load of crap. you you have clocked dragon age origins on a region 2 and decide to buy the game again on region 1 because some faultyness on the disc yes the game saves won't load or any save imports but if you have a game from a different region like dragon age origins and a different region for dragon age 2. the import will work. I have happen to have done this before with mass effect 3. my game disc is australian version and I finshed it but when I imported it into my asian version of mass effect 3 it came up with everything I pass. Im getting DA2 asian version signature edition. I will let you know if the issue is still true but I doubt it since mass effect was also made by bioware too. only save files for the same game wont work but importing into the next installment will.

Same here, and the EA Customer Support is useless, there are all Indians with very low English knowledge (even though mine is not good as well, theirs is way worse) whom they always give me stupid answers to my inquiries. Please someone knowledgeable read this thread and help us!

Thats why.  Saves are region locked, while the game itself isn't.  Its just like with most dlc, its locked to the region the psn account is created for so if the game is a different region then the dlc isn't compatable with the disc.
