They made a full-auto version of the Mattock, and it's called the Cerberus Harrier. BioWare specifically makes this distinction - Mattock is semi-auto, while Harrier is full-auto. Both the Mattock and the Raptor have received several damage buffs to compensate for the continuous, fast clicking they require to achieve full DPS. A high damage output is the "reward" for continually mashing the button at full speed; otherwise, you get a moderate damage output if you fire at a moderate rate. The Mattock was clearly never intended to fire full-auto, nor is it intended to allow the player to achieve full DPS without "earning it." A macro trivializes the firing rate, allows one to achieve full DPS quite easily, and is exploiting the game mechanics in a way that was not intended.
I disagree. If the macro does not allow you to go over the max RoF (450), it isn't exploiting anything. If it was not intended to reach the 450, then they wouldn't decide on a 450 max RoF.

Except that the mattock can be shot more quickly than the macro allows by normal clicking, plus the macro is optional even when installed. The only real advantage is your finger doesn't hurt the next day.

There is that indeed. Besides, that gun in particular still works in a different enough fashion that it is distinct from its big commando bro.
Tested the macro, like it a lot. Gives me more of a reason to use those otherwise neat semi-autos more often. Besides, carpal tunnel syndrome is no joke, got someone in the family who suffered that, albeit from labour as opposed to button-mashing.

I can click faster and (remain accurate) than this macro goes, but i'm glad it's not as fast/faster than I can do it, as I don't want an unfair advantage when it comes to this.

i dont know if console's still make those types of controllers these days, but they use to, i cant even remember what they were called.
my logitech G700 has something like 7 extra buttons, that is not on a standard mouse, it also has a macro creator in the logitech device driver.
i actually have 1 button on my mouse set up to do the space bar, i mean who really wants to tap the crap out of spacebar when downed.
as far as full auto-fire, well i have been through 2 different gaming mice due to games like this that want me to press my mouse button 10 million times per game. which comes out to $80+ per mouse and i dont remember the exact price but it gets expensive fast.
so long story short, i use the mouse driver macro for shooting the semi auto's, every gun from what i can tell has a different rate of fire so it isnt even optimal when setting up the macro on the mouse.
it doesnt do any type of auto-aim, it just pulls the trigger fast, so i could still use all my ammo and miss.
the mouse would have to be declared as an unfair advantage, but it is also branded as a gaming mouse model, which that could enter into the realm of saying someone with a faster PC has an unfair advantage and should be banned for having a better graphics card, proccesor, more ram, bigger monitor, and etc... better make sure you dont overclock that graphics card either.

7.5 TRIGGER PULLS might be slightly more difficult...

Very true, unless you're using one of those Scuf controllers with trigger stoppers.

Here is a better script using Capslock as a toggle.
#NoEnv
#Warn
SendMode Input
SetWorkingDir %A_ScriptDir%
Toggle:=0
$Capslock::Toggle:=!Toggle
~$LButton::
while (GetKeyState("LButton","P") and Toggle)
{
MouseClick , Left, , , 1, , D
Sleep 10
MouseClick , Left, , , 1, , U
Sleep 10
}
return
This makes you unable to correct aim sometimes, mouse gets "jumypy".
As always keep it simple stupid works best:
#NoEnv
#Warn
SendMode Input
SetWorkingDir %A_ScriptDir%
Toggle:=0
$Capslock::Toggle:=!Toggle
~$LButton::
while (GetKeyState("LButton","P") and Toggle)
{
Click
Sleep 135
}
return
(theoretical Mattock ROF is 450, that would be a sleep of 133,333... , i gave it some breathig room with 135. 10 is way too fast and gives you the stutters.)

It's fully auto.
Macros for semi-autos are cheating in my book.
But then again, so is using flamer, playing GI and using the reegar.

Yea, you're not the best standard.

Yea, you're not the best standard.
Still, using aim-bot, or getting a macro to fire your gun for you.... I don't really see much difference.
